Poor guy looks so depressed and drained. Hate how the studios put him through this mess I would of happily waited a year or longer so he could work his magic.
just goes to show how great a director Peter Jackson really is, that he was under all that pressure and still able to make a better movie than everyone else today 🤣
They could have had all the breaks they wanted and wouldn't have fixed the awful scripts that unnecessarily deviated from the books or the tedious action scenes inserted everywhere.
he didn't make that decision. He didn't even choose to make the movies. Someone else did, they left, studio increased from two to three movies, while Peter took over because he didn't want it abandoned.
It's not Peters fault. PJ wanted to finish these movie for the fans and it took a toll on his health. Greedy studios didn't give him enough time to write the script.
