Rimuru: Its Clayman’s Fault Veldora and Shion: *I’m Motivated!!*

One of the reasons I like this anime is because of how Rimuru acts and behaves. He doesn't go in thinking he's inherently superior than anyone/everyone there, nor does he rely too heavily on his already-overwhelming power. He's cautious, goes in most times with a plan in place, and tries to defeat his opponents tactically and strategically rather than through sheer brute force. I mean, at the level he's at now, he could EASILY pull the latter off in most fights, but the fact that he only resorts to it when necessary is what I like about him.

We all secretly know that diablo is crying on the inside right now.. Because of rimuru choosing shion

Let’s just say, hypothetically clayman insults me, Shion and veldora: ight, that guy goes

Saying no to Shion is the hardest choice to make, she could mess up the room just by crying.

Man I really hope they’ll eventually animate book 11 because Shion actually goes through some pretty cool character development and her rivalry with Diablo deepens.

The last time Rimuru went on a quest the village was attacked and his friends died. To make sure that doesn't happen again he left the person he trusts the most, his brother, to protect the people he cares about

Shion is by far my favorite character in the series, and it's not just because of her looks, she is simply so wholesome

While choosing Shion was in order to avoid another cataclysmic tantrum, it actually proved to be the best choice in Walpurgis. And again, he wasn't aware of what a great choice he did!

Seriously though, Ramiris her voice actor is incredible, so much range and emotion in those lines. The other voice acting in this is suburb too of course, but Ramiris really stands out due to her over the top personality being so well expressed with the voice lines.

Its so hysterical to me how an all powerful being like Veldora gets SO UPSET over something that wasn't actually said and immediately wants to crush someone who would dare say something like that about Rimuru. It just kills me. Him and Shion are a whole damn mess xD

This anime wouldn’t be the same without Shion’s quirkiness and simping for Rimuru

*“No, I have no interest in going along to protect you.”* Also Ramiris: What!? Come on? Don’t be mean, *MASTER!* The sudden Master tho lol!

Seriously, whoever is in charge of coming up with these titles is doing a damn great job. Keep up the good work because they're funny as hell.

the part of the clip where Ramiris is calling Veldora "master" despite technically outranking him is a really funny aspect of how the show works

I love the sound effects here, like the sound of the peepers in the night background noise. Great scene! I'd love to know more about Ramiris and Veldora's relationship. Also, Shion practically begging Rimuru to take her was very cute.

Who else can't wait for Shuna's sighing after a certain fight? :D

One of the best aspects of this anime is how well it builds humor directly out of character development. That they have so many well-developed characters is a tribute to the writers. That said, we need to see more of Geld's good goblin girl!

Aside from a couple series I’ve never been a fan of the whole Isekai genre but there’s something about this show that just clicks with me

*major spoilers* This scene always amuses me because Veldora winds up going anyway. Turns out the soul corridor is a pretty useful thing for transporting yourself to your bestie's location in an instant.
