I liked who they cast as Master Roshi and I liked what they did to Bulma's hair. Chow Yun Fat could have had so much fun as Roshi and we would have loved it. But no, we got badly written, directed, and acted movie that nobody wants to see happen again.

She didn't have to believe it, it's the equivalent of trolling. She said it knowing it that no one liked that movie. She obviously chose the most vile things to say with the intent to trigger him. If he hated anime he wouldn't care and would've passed the test. It would only be an evil flag if she actually believed it, which it was clear she didn't.

I skip intros if I've listened to them 1 too many times, if I really really want to get to the action bcuz the last episode ended on a cliffhanger (Yesterday's demon Slayer episode) or if it's just not fire.

....I see you made the sacrilegious choice to read the original light novel without first reading the original original web comic. Welp, let's review this again: ● the feud actually began during the first anime boom years. Initially Neo Otaku City was a subsidiary of Prestige TV City but the anime boom years caused Neo Otaku City to gain considerably more power which put a strain on the relationship between the city and it's subsidiary. NOC ended up becoming an independent colony which proved to be a bad call because during the an-imflation, creators started spending more on anime than they made from it. This led to NOC selling the rights to a lot of its golden age content just to stay afloat. ● 09:15 although this line wasnt in the actual webcomics the creator recently spoke about it. That line was actually a reference to the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight and other anime fights that popularised the quick cuts in fight scenes. This is an interesting statement because PTC originally used long continued cuts for fight scenes but NOC's influence during anime's boom period actually led to PTC changing this style. PTC wanted to incorporate some anime elements in an attempt to recreate the popularity of anime in their TV shows. But short fast cuts proved to be a bad idea and didn't work in non anime (I.e Casino Royale, Taken) and so PTC has had to revert back to the original long steady flowing shots during fight scenes. ● although the beach scene wasnt in the original light novel it was in the original poorly drawn webcomics. Creator-san only changed it to starbucks when he was refining ACD for the light novels in order to get sponsorship. ● in the original webcomics joe actually reached the door before he is caught. This is important because the moment he touches the door he has a flashback to his moment with Diesel where they are both pushing the door and holding back the ninja henchmen. I know this may be alot for you all to keep track of but I hope this helps put more context to the whole episode.

I noticed it too, but I think, it is done on purpose. Basically like in the series the crests representing the heart going from friendship to love and maybe representing what is currently important. I mean, compare the scenes and what they are talking about when she has the friendship crest and when she has the love crest.
