"ION" is the worlds largest paintball scenario game with over 4k players in attendance. The game is based on the battle better known as "D-day" where American troops hit the beaches of Normandy against an onslaught of well fortified Germans, taking heavy casualties in an effort to control the beach. About 5 or six "boats" unleashed the American players from their staging area and from where i am i can see 3 of the boats. Watch the skies to see the constant volley of overhead fire. If you are on the beach you are getting shot constantly by bouncing paint cutting through the grass and ferns. You can see that about 95% of my comrades are behind the tree line, there was quite a bit of friendly fire if you were a German player actually on the beach.
