So on the Joel McHale scene. Everything right up until he says “you should be dead” is probably real but that specific line stands out. The audio quality changes, the camera isn’t on Joel at all but just on Carmie’s face. You could interpret that as his inner thoughts speaking with his Boss’s voice or it could be something his boss really said. There’s no way to know for sure.

Jeremy Allen White was terrific in the U.S. 'Shameless' and perhaps even better in this. Like the half hour run time. It leaves you in anticipation for the next episode.

Restarted the series recently. Richie makes a lot of sense in hindsight. Carmy is the protagonist, but he isn't always right. It's Carmy's shop but it's also the crew's livelihood. I love this show because of the warts.

Ambien is the worst, I can't discourage its use enough, one night I took it and fell asleep in my bed but when I woke up I was in a holding cell because I apparently went out driving (i have zero recollection of it) the cops said they get a lot of ambien drivers and sometimes ends with a major car accident. Luckily for me there was no accident and amazingly no DUI, I got a year long suspension of my license and 3 months meeting w/ a probation officer. I immediately destroyed the remaing ambien and canceled my prescription, never taking that shit again.
Working in a restaurant is crazy. U can get docked points for putting the wrong sanitation type in wrong color bucket or the sanitation water not being the appropriate temperature
I’m sorry getting 2 episodes is gonna ruin me, need more right now. I 100%know y’all are gonna love this show, can’t wait for the next one. Redemption arcs for all the bad people feels so satisfying. But also the trauma of some of these episodes, brace yourselves
