Wow, they're like a real team - a smooth running machine - by the end of this episode! Everyone except Richie that is! 😂 Hopefully they're able to keep up the good vibes! 🤞 Thoughts?
Ceres is the name of the bar they are talking about. Ceres was the Greek goddess of agriculture and grain crops (perfect for beer drinkers). They have to get those close up shots of Sydney and Carmey chopping veggies, get the money shots 😂😂 culinary training ain't cheap😂😂
sydney wasn’t being shady, it’s was just left over so she gave it to a random patron.she smiled when the guy ate her food bc she has been seeking validation from carmy but she keep being shut down. she’s coming to this position to work alongside carmine and she just wants to impress him.
Yeah a lot of reactors seem to come to that conclusion, and it’s always surprising to me .like Sydney was shown to be the most supportive inpatient yes but still supportive
at the end richie is showing growth bc he realized that having those guys conduct their business so close to the restaurant isn’t beneficial. he seems very insecure about about his current situation. to begin he’s grieving from the loss of his best friend and he’s coming to terms with having someone that understands him/ isn’t annoyed by him be gone. he’s not able to manage the beef anymore, no one is interested in being entertained by him at work anymore(so another thing is reminding him of losing his best friend), in the earlier episodes we saw how much he loves his daughter so to hear about how negatively his ex talks about him around their child hurts. it’s one thing to not like him or be upset at him but to have it displayed publicly were his daughter could see is immature and possibly damaging to their relationship. The whole episode he talked about not wanting things to change, and how he was upset by neighbourhood fixtures being pushed out. At the end he called the cops bc he realised it’s not good for the business. He’s not being a baby, It’s called growth.
Hmmm. I agree with most of your points here except that it was growth from Richie to call the cops. Like you said he’s struggling with change and losing control of The Beef. One of the last things he had was handling the locals and how good he is with them and Sydney took that away as well. Then Tina pushed him away too. That feels to me like a spiteful act calling the police especially since just calling the police once is not gonna resolve the problem permanently - those same guys would probably be right back out there the next day especially since they have the sandwich deal on the table now. Plus they’re part of the delicate ecosystem Richie desperately wants to protect. All the regulars he wants to keep at the shop already know and are used to these guys being around. He just wanted to get his lick back someway. The situation was already handled by Sydney. Do you think he still would’ve called the cops if she hadn’t intervened already and he was able to just do it his way? Again, overall tho I do agree that he’s growing. SLOWLY but he’s growing and it is hard for him especially with such a huge loss. I just don’t think we can color this specific action as growth. Agree to disagree I guess.
