So good. I was seriously stressed fearing that Donna's mood would shift and she would turn on Natalie. It made me think that's how Nat probably navigated a lot of her life - just waiting for her Mom to turn on a dime. What great performances from both these actresses.

I starting weeping when Pete arrived. I don't even know why.

Jamie Lee Curtis is going to be nominated for this episode. Incredible work!

this was genuinely so so sweet and so great to watch. what an awesome review, i felt the exact same way. i truly could’ve watched hours of this episode. the bear is one of the best shows period because of episodes like this and fishes.

Jamie lee Curtis will win the Emmy for this episode! Absolutely amazing!

This was quite a remarkable episode. First of all there are so many reviews that are dismissive of this season, this episode in particular, highlights the quality of the writing but in particular the acting. For those who have been watching you know how extremely complicated the relationship the mother (Jamie lee curtis) has with her kids..even more sore with Donna. But the performance of these 2 women are incredible!!! I feel that so many people don't give Jamie Lee's ability. She always seem.to be pigeon-holed or eclipsed by her actions/personality outside of acting. But watch this episode again and just concentrate on their expressions. They convey so much angst, trauma, depression and love with the most subtle looks and gestures. Realistic and just authentic! You can see how Jamie lee is doing her best to suppress her own issues to be there for her daughter. She wants her granddaughter to break the cycle (kind of like the moment Forrest Gump first meets his son). And this season, they REALLY utilized a phenomenal soundtrack. The music in this scene was an outstanding choice. In other scenes they reintroduce THE SUNDAYS and JAMES to today's viewers. For those who don't understand thus season, they should go back and retrace how these characters got to this point. It is very good writing and brought to life by outstanding actors like these two women.

My favorite episode I think

My favorite episodes would be: Tina's episode, Ice chips and then the 1st one, in that order. The whole season is my favorite out of the 3 but those 3 are so powerful, made me feel very emotional for a lot of reasons.
