***** Whatt!!!! they can all play their instruments, well. Along with the bass guitarist, the second singer are the cute ones, the drummer looks rock and roll and the lead singers oozes charisma. All this is wrapped up in a 60s retro look. Mark my words this band will break America then get weird and get even better in time. And who knows with that pool of talent perhaps we may even see some successful solo careers. OK maybe that is stretching it a bit. But who knows.
Wish I could’ve been alive when the Beatles were captivating the world. I’m 15 and today’s music is all the same, often violent, crude, or just plain bad. These four wonderful men defined music for much of the 20th century, and I wish I could’ve seen them play live.
Bro I feel the exact same all music today is stuffed full of autotune and electric sounds and shit like that, like 'artists' nowadays don't even have to make the sounds happen onstage it's like all done from some computer, whereas these real artists had to make it happen all from onstage.
There is an abundance of musicians that are inspired by the Beatles today. I used to be that guy who only listened to "real music" and thought modern music was crap. Than I figured out how much music you deprive yourself of with that way of thinking.
+Grace Earvolino well he doesn't make music the way you think music is made today. Bruno writes catchy hits like it's nothing. But he will never top the Beatles. No one will.
I'm 24 and I grew up with listening to The Beatles from my dad, my uncle's, and my papa. Even though Paul and Ringo are still living I will always be a Beatles fan. Rest in peace John, George and Papa. I always thought George was a cutie.
I grew up in the hood (ghetto, then) and believe it or not, but we LOVED the Beatles. They were a true sensation. My school (4th Grade) even had Beatle Burgers on day for lunch: burgers with sauerkraut (for the hair). I threw it up - it was gross - but still. That Halloween, all us kids wanted to be Beatles; they had wigs with the costumes you got at the drug store and everything. It was very exciting what with Motown emerging and all. Very exciting. And I recall too that all of the television shows got in on the bandwagon as well. You may remember the Gilligan's Island episode where the girls became the Lady Bugs, for example. It's funny to think we only knew them here in the U.S for such a short time - '64-'69 and to think of their influence and the hit after hit after hit after hit - they popularized the LP as well. Just great!
That's so wonderful. I was 12 when I saw them on the Ed Sullivan show. Four days later I turned 13, my golden birthday, so it was a great time to be a young person with something so phenomenal as The Beatles. You are the "second wave fan" and I welcome you to the club.
Oh yeah, I'll tell you something I think you'll understand When I'll say that something I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand Oh please, say to me You'll let me be your man And please, say to me You'll let me hold your hand I'll let me hold your hand I wanna hold your hand And when I touch you I feel happy Inside It's such a feeling that my love I can't hide I can't hide I can't hide Yeah, you've got that something I think you'll understand When I'll say that something I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand And when I touch you I feel happy Inside It's such a feeling that my love I can't hide I can't hide I can't hide Yeah, you've got that something I think you'll understand When I'll feel that something I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand I wanna hold your hand
Innocent and pure! Not!...it's chock-full of naughty metaphors. "When I see you I feel happy inside...it's such a feeling that my love, I can't hide!" Need I translate?
I wish I had been a teenager in London during the 60s. I was a teenager during the 80s, which was still a good time to be a teen, but the 60s looked a lot more fun.
Bob gangamstein Yeah, I think you're right. I wish the world was a better place for you youngsters cos at the moment it's terrible. I didn't think for a moment the world would be this fucked up in the future, when I was 16.
+Helmut McFranklinstein I was born in the 60s, so I don't remember them. But teenagers today, on average, are more likely to graduate high school, less likely to kill somebody, less likely to be killed, and have fewer fatal drug overdoses than teenagers in the 60, 70s, or 80s. Growing up in the 60s would have been amazing, but today's teens are better behaved. Teen pregnancy is down, too.
***** That's because the media follows the rule of "if it bleeds, it leads," and there's a lot more media than there used to be. Let's put it this way: if I had a time machine, I would certainly want to *visit* the 1960s, but I wouldn't want to *live* there. Heck, I was already a year old when _Loving v Virginia_ came down.
+Sailor Barsoom that is true but, I think it is because of all the technology around these days and more sexual protection around also, more may graduate mainly because, it's harder to get a job now than it was in say, the 60s. The crime rate was also lower than now through most the 60s than it is now, it was never until the late 60s. And, the crime rate started dropping dramatically after the internet was opened to the general public.
Jayden Mclean Yeah, I give the Internet a lot of credit for the lower teen pregnancy rate and even the lower fatal overdose rate, because teens are able to access the information we adults keep trying to keep away from them.
I'm thirteen, and I hate the music my generation has. I wish music of the current generation sounded like this. People at school are like, "Listen to Justin Bieber! Listen to Nicki Minaj! Or Ariana Grande." and I'm like, "No. Beatles is where it's at. End of story." Some current music is okay, but I would give anything to live in the generations when music was actually GOOD. I think the problem with today's music is autotune. Most of them can't sing, so they autotune it. Nowadays, anyone can be a singer because if you suck, they computerize it. But back in The Beatles era, there was no autotune, so they actually had to find people with really great musical talent. So music stayed good because the singers' voices were REAL. I can hardly stand my generation and it's only getting worse.
patrick grondines they are the best. Period. In everything. They changed music forever and without them all the bands we know today like queen, nirvana and led zeppelin wouldn' exist, or at least make the music they did.
***** That's actually the music i listen to, however i still think a true musician doesn't use auto tune like one direction. people that do that don't deserve to be as famous as they become.
Imagine dragons and Of Monsters And Men are probably the best bands today, as well as RHCP if u want more rock. Beatles were still better though, more variety and an insane amount of good songs.
The low Electric guitars are Just a fallic symbol. Chuck was a master and even held It straight and erected. Delta bluesmen like Patton did that in the 20s and apparently even black minstrel banjoist did all the behind the back and weird posture tricks and truly those big Gibsons would look awful clumsy clowning.
@@fshoaps they're not much bigger than a standard dreadnought acoustic. It was more likely that it was to keep the guitar in the same position whether sitting or standing.
Está canción le gustaba mucho a mi esposo fayesio ase 35 años lo extraño mucho nunca lo olvido más pasá el tiempo y espeor lo sigo sigo Amando 🖤💔😭😭😭😭😪😔
The Beatles is the only band I can think of that you can see gradually get better. They started as a average pop group, but in-between 1965-1966 they transformed. They morphed into one of the most legendary bands in the world. I'm not trying to dis this song, although I hate this song, I'm just saying to all those "fans" saying their 12 and listen to the Beatles, listen to Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, the White album, and Abbey Road, and you'll probably agree that THIS isn't the Beatles.
***** I don't think your reading my comment right... I said that the only reason why they were popular, is because they were cute, and I don't like them, because their music is just average, dumb, make me some money pop-tunes, until they started maturing, and created stellar music.
Heard a song called days and nights by THE YOUNG on the radio today that reminded me of The Beatles.. probably worth checking out, you'll thank me later.
Essa foi a primeira musica que ouvi do Beatles, tinha uns 12 ou 13 anos, foi num parquinho de diversões no Bom retiro, nunca tinha ouvido algo parecido, fiquei Alucinado !!!
I was first introduced to this song at a family reunion, when the jukebox got stuck and kept on replaying this about 50 times. It's a good thing I liked it, because I'm certainly not going to forget it, ever :D
Los Beatles los mejores del mundo,, siento tanto la pena de John Lennon que alla muerto, es como si me faltara el corazón,, lo valoraba mucho a el,, era un idolo de primera que mataba de amor a los fans, como lo extraño, :'((..
what happens is that every song of the beatles have many videos and presentations, so, this one for example, which has many videos, has 1 million and a half visitors. If we had all visits of all the videos of this song would be millions and millions. and also about all the songs of the beatles. there is no "thebeatlesvevo" official. there are videos everywhere and many millions of visits around for youtube.
They were so direct in their songs. Many of us think of those things but seldom say them. And they sang so well, with good harmonies and rhythm. And best of all they composed their songs. What a great group they were!
CREO QUE QUE TODAS LAS CANCIONES DE LOS BEATLES NO SE PUEDE ELEGIR UNA COMO LA MEJOR, TODAS SON ECHAS CON INSPIRACION Y AMOR TODAS SON UNICAS EN DEFINITIVAS TODAS SON LAS MEJORES
OMG Poor Ringo :'( They only showed him for like 3 seconds anyway :'( Me and my BFF call each other Ringo and Paul, I'm Ringo and she's paul. We're only 11 years old. I like music like The Beatles, The Smiths, Joy Division and The Stone Roses. This is one of my favourite Beatles' songs, alongside with Strawberry Fields Forever, Martha My Dear and Frome Me To You. Anyway, poor Ringo :'(
+Iainbotham Yes, of course they brought in a fake one, and his real one didn't even know he died, didn't report his death, etc even though they got none of the money from the "fake" one. Dumbasses.
Mateusz Woźniakowski ahh right tbh i'm not surprised as the beatles copyright is incredibly strong, youtube has been recently deleting a lot of them and blocking them in Germany.
To say that this was controversial back in the days but now we have giroting booties everywhere and most people don't care, even children, different times
Music was so BETTER BACK THEN :) especially in the 60s it needs to BE REALLY MEANINGFUL !!! well they are still SOME SONG that are meaningful nowadays :/ but the problem nowadays that MUSICIANS NEED TO SHOW THEIR BOOB,WEAR BIKINIS,TWERK,SAY BAD WORDS,and GETTING WASTED :( where is THE REAL TALENT ???
Some say The Beatles weren't original in these days.. but they definately were. As they were young it was their interpretation of music and especially of Rock 'n Roll :) Great work!
