2:05 when all four crack up at exactly the same time with George's joke. These interviews are such a vivid reminder of how much fun they were, beyond the bright brilliant music
Sophie-Marie Lange The reporter had asked them whether they have time to spend all their money. George asked, “what money?” Basically saying they don’t have that much money (which they didn’t at that time). So the reporter says “doesn’t he (meaning their manager, Brian Epstein) give you any?” George says, “no, have you seen that car of his?” He’s basically joking that Brian spends all their money on stuff for himself. Not really true - just a joke.
@@m.e.d.7997 I wouldn't say that, this was the height of Beatlemania and they were taking the World by storm, I Want to Hold your Hand was still number 1 in the British and US charts, their other singles were still number 1 in Britain, their two first UK albums (Please Please Me and With the Beatles) were still number 1, their first U.S. Capital album Meet the Beatles! Was number 1 and they just played The Ed Sullivan Show to 73' 000 000 viewers plus ready to star in their first full length feature film
1:06 is hilarious. The guy behind Paul moves his arm at the same time John messes with Pauls ear. I wonder if Paul has ever watched this and said Aha! so it was John!
ever since i became obsessed, my mind usually wanders off to the awful thought of Beatlemania dying out. then i tell myself im crazy but remember rappers are out there (looking like my elementary school desk) taking over a lot of teenagers as;ighfhlak, jhfdliasukj
I'm not a die hard Beatles fan so i don't have any real strong feelings about them, so i feel like im standing at a neutral enough position to reflect on what I'm seeing here. These guys must have had an exceptionally strong friendship, at least in the early years, because the rapport they have is incredible. The love is super apparent to me, they're almost like a hive mind how on the same page they are, no wonder they created some of the greatest music of all time.
It happened about 60 years ago, yet you feel like you're right there with them on their adventures and journey through the sixties. They feel so alive. You just get caught up in the moment, lose track of time, and pretty soon you realize you've been hanging out with them for hours on end. Then you realize it's 2020 and not 1964
This is one of my favorite interviews to watch because they are cracking jokes and laughing the whole time instead of being bored with repetitive questions

Anyone who can't see the Paul here and the post 1966 Paul are two different human beings needs their eyes and ears tested. It's one of the biggest deceits of recent times.
I am sick of the stupid f..ing PIDs comments in Beatles videos. Paul is not dead twats, he was however never one man, Mockers and Frost 64 interviews are you ever present constantly swapping Pauls. You are not woke PIDs you are easily lied to by Memoirs..Tina and Clare etc.. wake up properly once and for all and enjoy the Pauls time on earth, it's a marvelous phenomenon.
i think it's the excitement that had them all happy and giggly in this interview, they had JUST come back from the US where they got that justification that they indeed are popular, and that so many love and adore them. It's great to see them like this.
@@beckysberries4441 nah, he wasn’t saying anything inappropriate. he just cut off because he also accidentally spat on george while talking, because if you look at george, he also displayed the same reaction when the interviewer spat on him. yes, i have a ton of free time and i watch this video like 3 times a month.
Me too. Having to see how they were than just a band, they were like "brothers". *(Now I see what Ringo means and that his wish back when he was little came true.)*
Really? John and George refused to have 24/7 security. Paul and Ringo demand it. Did you need to know more? OK, here’s more. In the 80s when Paul was the richest man in England he went to Queen Elizabeth and said I need the best security because I am the richest and I want you to let me use the same security you use. And he got that. And it cost him plenty, but he got it.
Reporter - "Don't you have sun up in Liverpool" Ringo - "No no they've finished up there now" brilliantly funny answer, love how much that tickled Paul
So do I. I love all four of The Beatles, but Ringo Starr is my favorite drummer and Thomas the Tank Engine UK narrator. He is also the only man that I love with a nose like that.
I was lucky enough to see the boys, Live on my 9th B-day ! Aug1965PortlandOR USA I still remember 5 or 6 parts of it, they were on stage for only 35 minutes, I do remember it was the best place to be on the Planet
!!! When Paul throws his head back laughing at George for calling the guy out for spitting on him and Ringo goes “that was a big laugh.” He’s so precious in this video. Cutest smile.
