Pretty sure Charlie Chaplin made a similar joke in one of his sketches. In prison, a prisoner next to him in the mess hall swaps the table salt for cocaine to hide it from the guards, and Chaplin puts it all over his food, gets some on his hand and wipes it over his nose without realising. Then he proceeds to act up on the coke

They basically just got to the state's only six months or so previously with no acting history whatsoever and they were fantastic. All 4 especially George with his deadpan humor. Wow these guys were awesome.
