Uff The longest of the Beatles When I hear this song, I imagine that John invented doom metal. I doubt that song would have been performed on the roof but the song isnt finish in that time. The lyrics talk about Yoko Ono, about 6 months before the release of the Abbey Road album. Lennon was experimenting with a heavy blues sound, so the song has few lyrics and long stretches of repeated chords. "Every time I pick up the guitar, I sing about Yoko and that's how I'm influenced," Lennon said at the time. Curious fact: - Billy Pretson does the Keyboard part - Along with "Revolution 9" and "Hey Jude". "I Want You" is the third and last longest song by the Beatles.

This song always fascinated me. Not as much in the game, but the length, the simplicity of the lyrics contrasting the complexity of the instruments, the sudden ending to the hypnotic 3-minute coda that preceded it, one of John's exceptional vocal pieces too. A very nice song all things considered, a great solo to master in the game

I find it kinda spooky that when it ends it’s very abrupt and cuts to black and then to the results screen

Sort of imagined this song as the finale song for The Beatles Rock Band. It’s long, and all the instruments (maybe minus guitar) have their difficulties. Even vocals. Despite the lyrics on containing like 10 words and not dragging on at the end, the pitches are deceptively tricky. The only thing from truly making this not fit as a finale, is that it’s not from the last album, they created or even played in the rooftop performance. (At least not fully.) Get Back probably fits better since it covers all the criteria for the finale, but I always played I Want You as my last song because it feels more epic as a finale. And then we have The End which might as well be an encore. Two songs away from the on disc tracks!

I never realized how long this song actually is. I only ever listen to it with the whole album.

The little “turn it down now” which must’ve been picked up during the abbey road sessions would’ve been perfect for the rooftop concert because of the police intervention telling them to stop, it happens right after Johns scream 4:33

This is one of the longest songs that I have ever seen in my entire life!!! But it was the only song that never been seen in the Abby Road Studio Venue!!!

I seriously don’t understand why Harmonix never included One After 909 for the rooftop concert section. I’m willing to forgive them for having the band play this song and I Me Mine on the rooftop (this certainly isn’t the only instance of Beatles Rock Band making this kind of error, I’m looking at you Shea Stadium and Ed Sullivan Show sections). But to not include One After 909 at all in the game, not even as a DLC track? What gives?

I guess this is the only way to see the Beatles Sing and Play I want you she's so heavy live on rooftop eh!
