This song rounds out my favourite Beatles era George Harrison compositions - Something, Here Comes The Sun, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Thanks to my Patreon supporters - you might not realise it but you keep me motivated! Special mention to Mark, Colin Campbell, Jeffrey Stretton-Bell, Lauren Margaret and Ray Ayuso for their long time support 👍
This arrangement - intense to play, you can tell by how many fret buzzes there are, and the pained look on my face. Listening back, I realise once again - just relax, don't overplay it, "we get it JAW, calm down". Initially based on Naudo's version ( • "While My Guitar Gentl... ) but I changed it a lot. Hmm, Naudo posted it over a year and a half ago... I need to work faster...
Speaking of overplaying, I don't normally overedit videos, but last day of 2021, I wanted to have a bit of fun with it so I over edited it :-) I liked the constant zoom in feel, adds a kinda "foreboding" tension. You can tell which is the worst camera of the three I have...digitally zooming is not good, another reason why I tend to stay away from it. Chucked in a few corny zooms - I giggle every time I see Charles Beartooth do that. Let me know if I should never do this overediting of videos again!
Audio is a bit clipped, oops. Noticed after my session I had the gain set a bit high. Sorry!
