When Paul did this during his One on One Tour back in 2016-17, he did an acoustic version of it, so this tour was probably the last time he did the normal speed of the song.

When I saw Paul in Seattle in 2005 I was in the sixth row. I somehow snuck up to the stage during the encore and was right in front of Paul, waving my London Town album at him. He winked and beckoned to me. I passed it up to him. He autographed it. Heaven.
One of the most beautiful vocally harmonic tunes of all time, driven rhythmically by the guitar stabs, piano and drums, with counterpoint by Paul's incredibly melodic bass. It doesn't get any better than this. Funny thing, a decade later a song and act I didn't really care for suddenly struck me as oddly similar - Love Will Keep Us Together/Captain and Tennille. I liked that one ever since.

its a fucking brilliant song, it took me 400 years to work the chord changes out in the verse, it's not ( if you're playing it in D) straight forward guitar chords, its the classic subtle progression that's been used in million of songs, when I get round to working out the middle 8 in about another 400 years I'll let you know.
True greatness, what's so unbelievable is that after all of these years, and I'm 53 now, I've never heard any group that can compete with these guys. And, as great as Paul McCartney is, Lennon was the best. The world was robbed of so much more great music from him, but at least we have the music that he did make still. In my opinion Lennon was the very greatest of all time, no one was better than him. Paul McCartney is the closest though

This is probably one of my favorite songs from my favorite band, but i must point out the Paul is the only Beatle on that stage. The Beatles never played this song live, this is the first time any of the Beatles have ever played it live and George and John had already passed away by the time Paul did this
In a backwards kind of way, it is... As Paul said the Beatles didn't nothing with it, but Anne Murray had a big hit with it in 1974. John Lennon once told her that it was his favorite cover of a Beatles song.
