Chris McCandless is my personal epitome of "he's literally me". Everybody else picks weird, depressed, and even psychotic dudes as their "literally me". I think to some degree, everyone can relate to what McCandless was trying to do. Sometimes life gets stressful and being a part of society starts to feel like a heavy weight on your shoulders. However, McCandless didn't let himself fall into dark thoughts, rather he escaped the normal structure of society and decided to experience the true beauties of life and nature

This movie came into my life when I was planning to commit suicide. In a way it helped me not to.

I'm in love with this film. Everything about it is incredible. The landscapes, the message, the cinematography, the performances, etc. This movie changed my life.

Waited for this all my life.

This is one of my favourite movies. It's so philosophical and so beautiful.

How do you know that death isn't the greatest thing that's ever gonna happen to you. When you actually die you dissolve into an ocean of infinite love. Death is equivalent to infinite love. Death is equivalent to infinite consciousness. Death is equivalent to God. Death is immortality. Death is paradise or heaven. So the biggest mindfuck of life is to discover that death is actually infinite love.

This is the best movie I have seen. So calming and yet tragical

Un des films qui m’a le plus marqué étant jeune et qui a toujours un impact sur moi. Un film qui nous remet à notre place, c’est à dire qu’on devrait vivre avec simplicité et intensité chaque moment. Le bonheur matériel n’est qu’une illusion, il suffit de sortir dans la nature et d’admirer sa beauté pour être heureux à mon sens.

The movie that changed my LIFE.

I watched this movie when i was 11 of so. It was my first adult movie and i watched it with my mom. I was traumatized with the ending beacause Disney movies always ended good. This movie scarred me as a kid but i think om going to rewatch it and see the beauty of it.

One of the few movies that felt truly real throughout. Absolutely love this film. I wish Chris’ story was more well known.

This man was very smart. Ahead of most. He knew what meant the most as a child. He went for it but life is suffering and took it away from him. This I will never understand. Short but adventurous happy life

Absolutely amazing video. It's astonishing to me that I read the book back in Junior year of high school but I haven't gotten around the watching the movie yet; I'll probably watch it later tonight now. Would you consider doing 'The Beauty Of Shameless' or 'The Beauty Of Mindhunter'? I feel they're two really amazing shows (in their own respects) that really show off some amazing and, shall I say beautiful scenes.
