Ko Lanta is laid back by design. None of the craziness of the other tourist islands is allowed here: No jet skis, no paragliding, no hawking on the beach, no loud music, no parties, not even rental beach chairs. Perfect for a natural beach experience. Let us hope the pandemic ends soon, so that the locals can have their livelihoods back...

I visited this place in 2016, it has a rustic feel , a bit dilapidated, great sunsets, chilled out beach bars. Quiet place, no loud music, very different to kho phi phi with its party atmosphere, always bring mosquito repellent when visiting the islands ; they are everywhere.
