I did a stint as a poll clerk in the last by-election, wasn't a bad day, sitting down for the whole twelve hours. I'm only 27, and was definitely the youngest one there.
19. I was 19 and my best friend was 20 when we started working polls. Provincial and Federal. For a days work and entertaining people around, it's a lot of fun. Minor ways to reinvent the wheel and not fall asleep between 1:30 and 3pm. Hint! Come on by then, we have no lines and ample parking. Smiling faces, bilingualism, lack of conflicting noises, minor amounts of motion plus no children in the gym(s) of school age as we are operating in there.
