I've watched a few of your videos and while your style is not mine I think your content is really inspiring. The level of thought that you put into your design, the way you worked around obstacles (like transforming the pipe into a flower!) and the obvious skill and taste level you have. That pelmet is beautiful, the paiper mache lampshade and vanity organiser are brilliant. It's made me reconsider what I have in my home, so thank you for the inspiration and I'm looking forward to your next video!
I don't think I'm ever gonna get over how those curtains turned out, they look fantastic. I've been stalling on decorating my flat and this is so inspiring - it's really making me want to lean in to the stuff I WANT rather than being "practical and inoffensive" (as if anyone's coming over lol)
I thought that was exceptional! Your creativity, talent, humour and originality all came together to make a beautiful room that’s a million miles away from the usual bland influencer aesthetic. Thought I was going to hate the pelmet but it was really really lovely, and the tie backs were a perfect anti-shabby-chic finishing touch. Love all your paper mache creations - they make me determined to have a go. Ditto your embroidery. Fantastic room, fantastic video!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you! 😭 honestly at points I also thought I was going to hate the pelmet… it’s very rare that I’m sure about something until it’s 100% finished. So glad to have you here! 💕
While I struggle with the neon colours of the church crochet i can see why you love its weirdness ... but your crocheted dress! Amazing! And it fits you beautifully. Your clever crafting of the chenille bedspread into a grassy daisy mat and matching cat bed, and the repurposed doilie pelmet is delightful and inspiring. I hope you truly love your room.
Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful comments 🌷Yes the dress is incredible - I rarely wear it because I’m scared to damage it but I keep it hanging up on the end of my wardrobe so I can stare at it lovingly when I’m in bed
Wow, you are incredibly talented, brave, artistic and fun. I rarely comment on anything, but I wanted to say how brilliant you are. To be so unapologetically you and decorate to your style, not a trend, is awesome and inspirational. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
Your imagination is fabulous. It's really great that you made such beautiful versatile pieces like the canopy and curtain ties. I feel inspired to make some embroidered tie backs for my own room. The pipe flower was a perfect solution in my opinion 😊
Hi ! I've discovered your channel a few days ago and I rarely comment on videos but I just have to tell you how much I'm grateful youtube recommanded one of your videos. Love love love the content and your personality. I especially love the fact that you make 40+ min videos and how it allows you to show your thinking process in detail. We honestly don't have the same exact style (although I'm still trying to figure out mine) but seeing someone curate their house design and ambiance in search of a very personalized feel in their home (nest) is inspiring.
Stumbled across your channel and love the amateur diy content as frankly thats most of us out there. As a woman who bought her own home and had little diy skill (still do lol) I've found instead of investing in many power tools a simple power drill (with bits) and an item called a "muti-tool" really address most common things. I'm not sure if they call it a multi tool elsewhere (I'm in the states) but it's kinda like a big, more powerful Dremel. Oh and for those using hack saw or hand saws, buy a block of bee's wax. Rub the wax along the blade teeth and it will cut a lot smoother (and won't squeak). I hope someone finds this helpful as another amateur diyer to another 😊
OMW! It's been exactly one year since you posted this! Happy room Anniversary! Truly enjoying your posts. And no, the curtain does not look shabby chic. Great job.
You are amazing😅i have loved everything you have done. How I would like to see that room first hand. Your little flower on the floor just tickled me. Your dressing alcove, perfection. I'll be looking for more from you as you do your entire home🌹
I’ve watched all your videos. So good! Love your creativity and individual style. Also that you’re new enough and genuine enough on RU-vid to make this one wonderful long video instead of a piecemeal series of ten! Wishing you all the best.
You did a fantastic job! I love how your room is just a reflection of you and the importance you give to even the smallest details (love the pipe turned into a flower).
So much to love, my Absolute Favourite is the Cat with ashtray painting by you Great Gran and then the added pieces to go with it, I had to rewind and pause to behold that magnificence! Thanks for sharing:)
wow you are really smart creative and skilled. i love your approach and sense of humour. the little flower is brilliant and the widow decor with the embroidery is realy nice well done
Ever since I watched my first video of yours (craftsroom makeover) I REALLY wanted to start paper mache, I have some ideas that Im so excited to get aroung to!
I love this so much. And the flower hat - pipe...🥰Your videos are so creative - not only the creativity making things but also the creativity of your videos eg editing itself. Wonderful.
I’m a new subscriber and i loved your bathroom makeover. I am always so happy to go back and watch older videos, and still find the same level of enjoyment. I love your dry sense of humour and how you embrace your style. That rocking horse was a great find. You definitely deserve more than 2.7k followers and I know it won’t be long!
Thank you! The pony is still one of the best things I’ve ever found at a charity shop - I wish I had footage of me proudly/awkwardly taking it home on the bus that day 🚌
@@beigeflannel HA! That AND the green sink were very much worth the journey. I have a mint green sink and toilet just waiting for their final placement...and it has been years. So, I understand.
Watching past videos now from latest makeover. This pelmet is so clever and good looking. I am designing my toilet roll paper mache loves the mache project in this one too.
I've been watching all your makeover videos to motivate me while I'm in a slump. This was an incredible project. Can't believe what you did with the pelmet and tie-backs ... and that daisy floor rug is so beautiful in concept and execution that it actually brought tears to my eyes!
@@beigeflannel YT recommended your channel and it's right up my alley. You deserve a lot more views. Each video and all your DIY art must be very time consuming to make.
Love, love, love this room!!! The pelmet and tiebacks are just gorgeous 🤩 Love your Pinterest inspiration pics, would love if you could share you Pinterest name, understand if you'd rather not.
I love everything you did! Your amazing, creative mind blows me away! I saved your video under, Incredible things I want to make. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations with us lucky viewers :)
Absolutely loved watching this! Your style is gorgeous, all those little touches are incredible (I squealed at the curtain sashes, how cute!), and I’m moving into my own place this month so thank you for the motivation and inspiration - keep being you
