I respect you SO much for your segment about Palestine. While it is truly comforting to watch you renovate your place, my thoughts about Gaza never fully leave my conscious thoughts and the way you implement it in a otherwise relaxing video is something I take with me for my own creative process. Thank you!

This is honestly my first time seeing paper machete like this. Maybe I’ve been under a rock but I’m very intrigued. Sorry for blowing you up here. But.

At the time of my comment you are no longer "four away from 60 subscribers", but deservedly at 3.16K, and sure to keep collecting them, as your wit and whimsy are really appealing and you have made your space truly your own. Thank you for speaking out against the genocide that continues to happen

So organized and looks great too. Your rainbow paper mache tall stuff holder amazing and so is the curvy one.

On the paper rolls under your desk (artwork and such) maybe you could add little labels to the string bow so you know what each roll is immediately without unrolling it. 😊

I really enjoy watching your content - so creative and detailed. The paper mache ideas are an inspiration. I did some paper mache as a child but did not realise how sturdy it is nor realised how it could be used in adult life too. You have made some very cool and useful objects.

You should be very proud of yourself and all you were able to accomplish. I love it. You inspired me to destroy my craft room to better organize everything. Of course, it's a disaster right now, it won't be for long.

i use toilet (loo) paper roll tubes for storing rolled up papers. i cut the tubes to desired sizes, and cut a slit on the side to reduce tension on the paper i rolled up. ❤

I used to wear tights everyday with skirts but it was really annoying trying to figure out which black ones I needed for which outfit. So I used a similar system, I cut up loo roll tubes and I wrote what dernier and style it was on the tube. It also stopped them from getting tangled together

Hiii! You should try to put the fabrics shelf on the wall for photography, and leave the other wall for ph with the added bonus of the wall behind the door. Love all of your videos ❤

I LOVE RAINBOWS! AND I LOVE YOUR RAINBOWS! you should sell them and if needed reinforce them with wire like you do with figures in clay. the rainbows remind me of a huge half circle 1970's paper rainbow my aunt had in her bedroom when i was growing up which i have safe in a trunk. also i feel you i would have to take so so so many naps (with a cat ofcourse maybe in the sun) to make sense and clear my mind. sitting here typing this i had an idea ..... turn your word cards into bunnting....? you have sparked my creative thinking forsure. thank you

I loved this makeover! And I love paper maché. I use wallpaper glue and old magazines to make a rubbis bin for the kitchen. It's strong, just like you for coming up with the rainbow devider, very inspiring!

Iooove how vintage rugs looks like on white painted panels, I wish I had white floor ot could painted it :) you are so amazing to watch, thank you for bringing us along! I'm the same when cames to sidetrack jobs, suddenly I transform small cleaning into painting into DIYing into rearanging etc., and then is messy again in the same day ;D achhh Ps. I had learnt how to knit this march and I love it too! I actually wouldn't expect it to be such satysfying and lovely activity!

Plus, I've never done paper-mache but I didn't know it could be so versatile. Would love it if in the near future you did a tutorial (how to do it, what thinks you can make...).

Also, I love your chair abomination!!! Could you maybe tell more on technical details how did you make it? what do you use for making a frame for it?💚
@beigeflannel
@beigeflannel 25 дней назад
There’s an old chair inside it (best frame for a chair is a chair!) also a broom handle… all wrapped in stuffing and then finished with patchwork from an old bedspread. It’s tricky for me to explain in a comment so maybe I’ll chat about it in a future vid 🎀

I loooove the squiggle storage for the wool, i was thinking you could add the other wool on top but maybe it would be prone to dust more? 😢 46:28
@beigeflannel
@beigeflannel 4 месяца назад
Thanks! I made the top surface flat(ish) so that I could put art or something else up there but there’s so many options for where things could go! If I end up getting really obsessed with knitting (highly possible) I might add more wool up the top 🧶

The Corbis type treatment on the back of the head photograph is a walk down memory lane. In the late 90s and early 00s Corbis was one of the stock photo houses I used for photography research in my job as a graphic designer. Happy to have stumbled upon your channel. Have you ever tried paper mache with tissue paper?
@beigeflannel
@beigeflannel Месяц назад
Interesting! I’d never heard of Corbis before coming across this poster on eBay. The other side has a photo of a nun so I might flip it over one day if I get bored of the head. Never tried with tissue paper, always just newspaper/loo roll as it’s what I always have in the flat. Would you recommend?
@bethclawson2573
@bethclawson2573 Месяц назад
@@beigeflannel I haven’t tried it either. I was thinking about the hoarded stash of used tissue paper. Not the Kleenex tissues for blowing your nose. Rather, the thin paper that is wrapped around gifts and put into gift bags and gift boxes. Not sure if you use this style of gift wrapping in the UK.
@janelte
@janelte 18 дней назад
@@bethclawson2573 Tissue paper makes a lovely top surface for papier maché - you can use newspaper or magazines over your cardboard, balloon, bowl or whatever, then finish with some final coats of tissue paper. It is pretty delicate so pasting the item you are covering then placing strips or torn pieces works better than soaking the tissue in glue.

Thank you ... new subscriber here. Love the combination of form and function in the 2 videos. I had to keep pausing as my brain flipped out whenever 2 processes were shown at the same time ... I wanted to see everything properly as I was feeling inspired for projects in my home. I've got to try papier-mâché ... I made a piggy bank once but I had no idea of the range of possibilities. The wool storage was brilliant but when I was obsessed with knitting, my stash grew ridiculously so would need something much bigger! 😁Also, I was touched by your moral conscience.

I’ve newly discovered your channel and am watching all your videos! I love your voiceovers with random swearing (so underrated) and your flagrant disregard for things that don’t really matter (more of this in the world please - I don’t have infinite time to spend on things that could be hidden behind a charity shop vase). Love your work. Please keep going and FREE PALESTINE ❤
