In this video we take a look at the Anel Plastic Beehive! Made in Greece this hive is quite something! Ive not seen a beehive like this before. The first unusual thing is its plastic! Beehives are normally wood or poly. But the unique feature of this hive is that the inside of this hive is actually insulated!
You get the insulated benefits of a poly hive but the hard wearing shell of a hard plastic.
This is a well thought out hive with many features to help the beekeeper. Multiple options for feeding the bees are available and a pollen trap can be fitted easily to the hive.
This is one hove that won't rot and will last a lifetime if looked after.
