Beeman used to make one of my favorite break barrel air rifles that had .177 and .22 barrels. I like break barrel for reliable strength and range. Also no cost of air
1072 or the Kodiak I love mine , lost the 22 barrel in move some how💔 , I used to blast bugs down range with these German clones from China they were very good after you tuned them

I’ve got one Umarex pump and one fx pump that are both on loan to me. Both work great! This one is .177, but for a dedicated hunting rifle a .22 would probably be better as you mentioned.
@@ohshoot444Wes at Airgun Archery Fun has the SPA regulators for the Bandit at a good price. It might be worth a try. You could measure the inside of your pressure tube and ask him if it will fit too. He's great at responding to emails.
