I’m glad you’re enjoying this piece. I own the Seneca Aspen self contained pcp in all 3 calibers … but no tankers. This one seems like a budget Edgun Leshey .
Have you had any issues with your aspen? I really wanted one but the reviews everywhere were all pretty negative pointing out quality control issues, I was hoping Seneca has worked out the kinks since then as I love the concept
@@Possum880 My .25 caliber was not retaining air ; but I took it down to ALAMO AIRGUNS in San Antonio , and My Friend “ Rudy” fixed it right up for a small fee.
Diabolo pellets prefer 820-870 fps. Anything over that and they tend to destablize. At close range it's not very noticeable but you start stretching it out it makes a difference. Steve over on AEOC talks about this.
Joyful video my friend. Yeah these little pcp's and co2's are super discreet for when there's folks about. My Chaser sounds like a quiet malfunction but is dead on accurate at 25yrds. I now have two guns with Buck Rail stuff - and you're right, the adjustability makes them ideal for introducing the little 'uns to shooting 😎

I have a .25 Diana Bandit carbine thanks to Buck-Rail parts. It's a quiet little hammer at about 14 fpe. I tuned it down a little to get a few more shots. It was shooting around 21 fpe with the factory hammer spring. Terry has really made these carbine conversions fun and affordable.
@@brettbaker5599 I got it from Wes at Airgun Archery Fun. It shoots great and really hits hard in .25. 14 fpe anchors squirrels just fine at 25 yards so I really don't miss the extra power or the 7 shots I was getting before I tuned it down.
That sure looks like a ton of fun for sure, when you started shooting the heavy pellets it sounded like the pressure was a little down. I am assuming this rifle is not regulated so you will need to find the sweetspot on your curve for best accuracy. 2 ways to do it shoot a complete shot string over the chrono and look for the group of shots with most consistent fps or the cheap method is to see how it "prints" on paper, shoot a complete shot string with the best pellet you have found so far and number your shots to your pressure, then check which shots grouped best most likely it will be 10-15 shots group nicely then check shot number and relate back to the start and end pressure and that is your sweetspot
What a winner! I am a Beeman nut (Chinese or German) and you might like the incomparable qb78 co2 air rifle. (IMO, the qb78 is the most important precharged air rifle in history except for the Girandoni that Lewis and Clark carried.)

Good video. A couple of points to consider. Cleaning the barrel makes a difference improving accuracy. Adjusting the hammer spring is easy. 1st, back the screw out, so the screw head is flush with the tube. Next, turn the screw in, clockwise, count the revolutions. If your getting around 600 fps the screw is in about 6 turns. You need a chronograph to make it much easier, and more precise to tune the gun. I have had my Beeman 2027 for about 6 months, with the full Buck Rail conversion mods. Love it! It turns the gun from an ugly duck to swan. Buck Rail prices are very affordable, and the parts are durable. With the price point of the original gun plus the conversion kit you get a really affordable, good looking, fun to shoot pcp air gun.
I have the Beeman underlever 22 bull pup. Love that gun. I just picked up the 2028 also bought the conversion kit from buck rail. They were out of the suppressor at the moment
So I have a 2027 and it's been out of commission for a few months. There is a booby trap you need to be aware of. While cleaning the barrel on mine I apparently dislodged the o-ring in the barrel. It won't chamber pellets when this happens. I tried popping it back into place but without any luck. Instead of a scope on carbines try a Monstrum Tactical prism scope. I put those on my Hatsan Jet's and my Notos...they are awesome.
I have both the Bandit and the NOTOS and just pumped up my Bandit in 15 pumps from yellow to full green. That gives me 28 decent shots for my nail into board challenge from 10 meters.
Well, I could give you some silly suggestions for the third rail, here's something that's a bit more useful. Get a pic rail camera mount so you can do gun camera footage. Something really fun in the way of PCP's is the Sig MCX Virtus .22 cal PCP. Really cool gun. Looks like an AR, semi-auto, has a 30 round magazine with the pellets on a belt. Gets a hell of a lot of shots out of a fill, and the bottle is regulated to 1100 psi on its output (fills to 3000). I got mine really cheap when Midway had them on clearance.

I just seen the video I know its a month old. good job on the review. Seems to me the barrel is dirty which may play a part in the flyers. even brand new they are all always dirty. I own 5 Beemans 3 different break barrels and 2 PCP.s pistol and rifle
This thing is shooting & looking very good buddy ! Pellet preference is always a bit of a gamble even with quality pellets... This is why I got sidetracked into buying way too many of them in .177 😁 _When you say it had the same trigger as a Crosman I assume you are talking about a different trigger than the b18 / b19's?_
Pimped out my baby with the bUck-rail AR platform (w/collapsable stock), Front blade suppressor, and grip adapter. Picatinny barrel cover. Houg Lava pistol grip. Dang, she looks mean!. Rail-mounted Laser max center pulsating sight and light. She's a night hunter!
I like fixed 4x with adjustable objectives. But I shoot so much that eye strain is an issue with cheaper high magnification scopes. Fixed power scopes tend to be clearer because of less components. The bsa outlook 4x32 is the best budget scope out in my opinion.
It's comfortable. I think with a few different scopes and ring setups you could get it perfect. But it is an AR stock, some people love them and some people hate em.
