Just a heads up: I made a mistake at the part where I hint about what Kanata's relationship with her mom is like. Having watched multiple clips on the matter, I ended up forming an inaccurate interpretation that they didn't get along, which, as was brought to my attention, is incorrect. I'm just showing that as an example to show that clippers are more than capable selecting specific snippets of content to create their own narrative, and more than likely, you may be getting a shallow view on what a holomember is thinking based on clips alone. This is why the intent of clippers are more important than you think, as they often shape what foreign fans that don't speak the source language think about VTubers, or any entertainers. The English-speaking fan community has had a rather negative view on Sayuri due to the content of certain clips. While I won't comment on if the intent of the clippers were malicious or not, it's an unfortunate situation. I hope this video can at least show that Kanatan does not hate her mother, even if they do have a bit of a rough relationship. In one way or another, they are doing their best to get along, and for the most part, Sayuri's actions are based on worry and love, not hatred. I'm fine if you don't agree with Sayuri's way of parenting. I personally think she's too strict myself, but I can see that she's doing her best to raise her child as a single mother. Just to add to the pile. Kanata used to eat dandelions when she was kid because her family was poor. She lost her hearing in one ear completely and will probably lose all her hearing in the future due to a disease. Despite the massive nerf she can sing amazingly and has incredible range.

Always liked Kana, and her bickering with Coco was always a hoot. But besides her glorious voice, what really made me truly appreciate her, was around the time of Coco's graduation. She was so strong, basically held the whole gen4 together. And she comforted Coco's fans so much, was truly a pillar for the community at that time! And not only to the community, but also to Haachama! Protective Pillar Tenshi! ☺❤

Update: Kanata now has a grip strength of 55.9KG. She's getting even stronger! Also, in the Minecraft server, she's no longer part of Usaken, Akukin and Miko's Demon Lord Army, opting to become a freelancer.

Jut recently, PPTenshi broke her own record singing Mephisto, holding a note for freaking 25.2 seconds in a single breath, making 2 pitch up transitions in the process. Also continuing to sing right after, with no time to recover her air. Insane.

My guess is that Kanata's halo is also a heavenly power containment device that she is required to wear while she's down here on Earth. Imagine what would happen if she were to lose it...

Trivia: "Amane" translates to "heavenly voice," but given her incredible singing and voice acting talent, I prefer to translate it as "Voice of the Heavens."

Kanata is one of my favorites because of her versatility. Unfortunately, I don't see her all that often as I believe she's had some health issues and then recently she got COVID and it totally put her down from being able to do anything.

Here's a funny tale about her: I was just watching her shorts with Coco shortly after Coco left Holo. I was just scrolling to the comments when my finger crossed the Subscribe button. I felt bad retracting it, and to this day, I'm a Heimin of sorts.

That's a really good video, I'm glad to have discovered this channel. Kanatan deserves more love!

Kanata has been my oshi since I first got dragged into the rabbit hole, it right after the debut of 4th gen and it's also why like their generation the most.
