Towa's voice is very unique and not very suited for the cutesy songs usually associated with idols. But it's also very strong and emotional, making it great for other types of music like rock. It's like Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries). Her voice is very unconventional and that can feel weird to people when they first hear it, but when she performed songs tailored to her specific vocals, she was smashing. I feel Towa's initial issues were much the same. Unconventional voice, her being too pure to really lean into her kayfabe, songs that just... didn't suit her. Then came Error. Nothing further needs to be said.

The only thing I'd personally add is that Towa can actually be quite cheeky/a kusogaki, when the opportunity arises Overall I think this is a pretty good introduction~

Towa admitted that she once ran off with a whole box of chocolate croissants meant for everyone in the studio after a recording session: that might be the most evil act she has admitted so far!

@@DreamWorldWitch I still suspect prior to that, the most evil thing she has done was opening a milk carton at the wrong end. Come to think of it, at a collab stream with Kanata, she resorted to asking her how to be evil, making her the worst devil ever.

If you know the meaning behind the song Error you will feel sad for her, Those time most JP fan betrayed and left her because of male voice in her stream then she got save by oversea viewer.

Towa's _-Error_ is a cover of a Vocaloid song. _Palette_ was the song she made to thank the fans who stuck by her through her controversy.

I remember I watched Suisei's karaoke stream right after Coco's graduation stream. Suisei couldn't sing due to constantly crying. It was very difficult to watch. It really speaks volumes of how much of an impact Coco had.

Ah Towa... I got into Hololive using the 4th gen as my entry point. I saw that they would debut and told myself "I think I'm gonna start with them." I fell for the 4th gen. As for Towa... when I first heard her voice, I thought she had the most beautiful out of all Hololive. So, I checked her out whenever I could (Curse her healthy schedule!). Then the drama happened, and I decided I would support her more. And she came out of it stronger than ever. Error came out soon after, and it was at that moment I knew becoming a Kenzoku was the correct life choice. Towa in simply great. I'm very happy for her.

Ah yes, as many others, one hear ERROR and wait "WAIT WHAT!?" and became instant fan even if they were not one before. And then Palette landed and it was all over for all of us.

looks cool -> is actually a wholesome bean -> sings like an angel -> but sometimes can be mischievous. Just a gap moe machine through and through. I also very enjoy how much she can follow along people she collab with. Sui-chan & Aqua then Daruma & Arisaka are very different but equally entertaining.

Towa is my hololive oshi and will always be, the "fact" (haha get it) that she is gonna reach 1 million subs simply bewilders me, as a kenzoku ALMOST ever since her debut, I have never been more proud of my little devil as much as now, this video is amazing and perfectly sums up Towa-sama's greatness and I hope you make more of these great edits!

It would've been fun if her sweeping the holoX at clubhouse 51 was added here but hey, she just completed the sweep just the other day so I guess It would(since it's all so recent and all that). That aside, this was a really informative video even for me who already checked them all out. Good going dude! Also, your voice acting is quite good. Reminds me of a few great shout casters I know.

Coco got me into the rabbit's hole. but when i heard Towa's Error cover, Towa became my first RU-vid membership. i still don't know japanese to save my life. but i lurk and have her in the background. Error is my alarm clock music. So every morning i can hear her sing. 🥰🥰🥰

Towa-sama Maji Daitenshi! The first time I heard her cover of ERROR I was mesmerized. I just wish I understood Japanese so I could watch her streams, but I never miss a single song that she puts out or concert she puts on, since music is universal and transcends language barriers!

I do agree that if you first see Towa, she seems quite unassuming. But it's until you dig a bit deeper that you'll end up with one of the biggest surprises you'll encounter among the Hololive members. I mean, I ordered her official dakimakura some months ago and received it before New Year's Day. If I discovered her a bit earlier I might have more official Towa merchandise by now.

What's funny is that I had never heard Towa sing until very recently as I'd only ever seen her in collaborative clips. I really dug her energy but was shocked when people said she was this great singer and was even MORE shocked when I actually checked out one of her songs. I don't remember the name of it but it was a collab with Sui-chan who is a fantastic singer and my jaw was on the floor.

Glad you brought up how teasable/bullyable Towa is. Can’t get enough of her trying/failing to leverage her senpai status especially against Shishiron 😅Poor Towa-sama has now lost Lui Lui due to Botan’s bad influence 😂
