For this video, I take you back a little bit and tell you what it was like when I first started my tax resolution business. It was 1998 when I decided to help people that had IRS problems. I was just fired from my corporate job. At the time, I realized I didn't want to work for anybody ever again. I wanted to be my own boss and call my own shots. Eighteen years previous to that I had worked for other people and was an employee working for various companies. And it took me to be fired, and18 years in the corporate world to decide to really follow my dreams. But I didn't know if it was going to work-I didn't know if I was going to succeed or fail.
I wanted to fight that David vs. Goliath fight. I figured people with IRS problems were entitled to and deserved a second chance, especially because they weren't criminals they didn't put money in offshore bank accounts trying to evade taxes. They were just ordinary Americans who had negative life altering events take place in their life which put the filing and the paying of their taxes on the back burner. And I had my own trial and tribulations and figured I got a second chance they should too.
As I started my own tax resolution business I was in fear. Maybe you can relate to this. Some of what I was in fear of was:
• Can I do the work? Am I smart enough?
• What if I mess up?
• What if I make a mistake and make matters worse?
• If I get too busy, how will I serve all of these clients?
• Can I do this?
In today’s video I go over these fears and answer these questions.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the information regarding tax services. I am studying for the Enrolled Agent Exam. Do I need to work for any company to get experience before I open my own business? If so, does your web page has any information on how to run your own business?
