The guys at Cranborne are so fantastic. I put the 500R8 and the Camden in my setup and never looked back. This is an awesome interview, again Kyle! This channel is definitely one of my primary go to spots for audio advice. Salute!

I bought a Camden EC1 a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it! I record Narration, and the additional monitoring controls and clean sound really help me focus in on what I am doing! The Thump Mojo @45% paired with the BeesNeez BU87i C gives me an incredibly rich and rounded sound!

Love the section of treating mixes for laptops and smartphones with harmonic distortion... Id love to see a video on narrowing down a better speaker position and maybe LEDE rooms, maybe the future of HRFT's and as it pertains to headphones and speakers (maybe cross-talk?). Love your videos!

Since when was phase shift audible? It can be made audible if it drives a signal into limiting, but that isn't the question

Compared to the original sound, it does change. It's very subtle (sometimes, inaudible). However, if the goal is _emulation_ of certain gear, then emulating how much a piece of gear might have shifted phase is also key in emulating the sound it makes (at least 1:1). Phase shifting doesn't need to be a total reversal, and that effect _can be_ noticed in the right setting/ environment.

Something else Sean mentions @ 9:00 : not all Phase Shift is equal across the Frequency spectrum. Sometimes certain frequency ranges can be shifted more than others. This will have a much more obvious effect on the sound.

@@donepearce I'm not sure that I have the recording experience/ ears for that! But, there are engineers and producers who at least _claim_ they can consistently hear it. I'm not sure how many of them have legitimately tested themselves on it, but I'll divert to their expertise and experience in such cases ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@DapperDanLovesYou I've known engineers who claimed to be able to identify cables. They couldn't.
