Marvin "Smitty" Smith has toured with Sting, Dave Holland, Sonny Rollins, Willie Nelson, Steve Coleman, Terrence Blanchard and Pharoah Sanders.
Phillip Rex has performed or recorded with Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Johnny Griffin, Paul Grabowsky, Joe Chindamo, Renee Geyer and Cindy Blackman Santana.
Together at Bird's, they celebrated the music and legacy of jazz legend McCoy Tyner.
