We love .50 Beowulf here in Canada. Our semi-auto rifle mags are pinned to 5 rounds, but you can fit 14 rounds of .223 in a 5 round .50 Beowulf magazine. High capacity mags may be illegal, but there's no law against misusing 5-round mags.

The intro is funny already, and I was expecting a 5 second cameo of one of the other gun tubers, like Brandon at the end of it It ended up being way more wholesome, and I was not disappointed.

You're close, but the Beowulf receiver was designed for military gate or checkpoint guards. Dump a magazine into a car, that car is gonna stop, and you don't need to retrain any soldier

The military was looking for a weapon to be used for stopping the use of vehicles as breaching tools at our embassies in the Middle East. So Alexander Arms developed the .50 Beowulf for this specific use plus the soldier’s don’t have to carry two weapons as the Beowulf upper will fit the M4 lower. So they can change out uppers disable the threat and switch back to 5.56 for defense purposes all in a relatively short period of time.

Home protection with the Beowulf cartridge: you wake up confused in the middle of the night startled by a sudden loud noise, disoriented, you struggle to make up you bearings and after a while you realize that this noise wasn't part of a dream, it was real. Then BAM!!!! Another loud noise, it came from downstairs, someone is trying to kick down your front door, you've waited for this your entire life and now you're ready. The 50 Beowulf projectile you've fired went through 6 houses before stopping. You have a boner now. Oh, btw, you're deaf in one ear and tinnitus on the other one for the rest of your life.

I bought my Beowulf about 14 years ago from alexzander arms. And people had no clue what it was. Great round for boar. I did change the break to a stove pipe type break. I have a friend who bought the bear creek arsenal version. I had to widen the ejection door and do some extractor work. Great video great gun. Next project cqb lol Beowulf lol

It was initially designed to be able neutralize insurgents inside of cars coming up on checkpoints in Iraq. It had to be strong enough to punch through the windshields and maintain stopping power in a carry friendly package. From what I've heard anyway.
