Here it is. The reels I used were excellent on this trip and are some of the best spinning reels I have gotten to use for less than $200. I am not much of a Daiwa fanboy but the Fuego was really nice for the money and applications I've encountered. The Shield is also good but is a little more clumsy and heavy. However, it is a little more forgiving in the salt spray category.
DOA makes excellent products all around. I used all of their jigheads an 4" split tail shads often when I needed a small profile.
Thule's XSporter failed me. Their customer service is great. But the product is iffy for me.
Lowrance Hook 4 also failed me. Not that surprised.
Hobie Outback was a stud as usual.
