I once bought a toner long back which did not suit me. I didn't wanted to waste it so used it on my legs.. it did wonders to my strawberry skin. Now I buy those affordable jumbo toner bottles like tonymoly just for legs.. 😊

I'm using the Haruharu one now and it is great. I am currently loving the Isntree Green Tea toner. I don't know what it is but my skin just absorbs it and feels so calmed afterwards.

My 2 favorite brands for Galactomyces Ferment and Bifida Ferment are Mizon and Mixsoon which both contain high percentages of each ingredient.

sigh . . . i love toners and essences. i've used the Dr Ceurable, Kaine and Haruharu Wonder products and I agree about those 100% . . . which means I might have to try these other recs.

I know this isn’t a Korean toner BUT the texture feels extremely similar to one and that is the Paula’s choice resist advanced replenishing toner. I have used that one for YEARS and have never come across a better ingredients list. Scientifically backed antioxidants, ceramides, THD ascorbate vitamin c and a bunch more I can’t think of off the top of my head etc. and it’s nice and milky with no oily finish once it’s on. I feel like that’s one that doesn’t get enough hype it is soooo good.

Paula's Choice has some really nice toner options- I think my favorite from them is the one in their Calm Line! Very gentle, soothing, and hydrating without feeling greasy.

Toners are my favorite!! Thank you for this!! The Jin Jung Sung is also one of my favorites. The Goodal Vegan Rice Milk Toner is also one to try!! I'm very interested in the BOJ Rice Milk. That BOJ Ginseng looks very dark to me, I wouldn't use it. Many blessings!!!💖💖💖 Kisses for the dogs!!🐾🐾🐾🐾💖💖💖

Ooh yes- the Goodal Rice Milk Toner is also awesome- love that one and the cream version too. I wish I would have just waited and reordered the BOJ Ginseng Water from Yesstyle. Makes me sad to trash it but it's definitely not on the up-and-up.

I feel like the Kaine kombu toner and BOJ essence are exactly the same. they are so similar I couldn't really tell the difference. I'm now using the Secret Key essence which I absolutely love. It's super light and watery and dries down quickly. perfect for the summer months!

I've used Dickinsons' original witch hazel as long as I can remember (I know....I'm a barbarian 😂). Toners and essences have always interested me, but the witch hazel is cheap and it works.

I'm using the Indie Lee CoQ10 Toner. It's refreshing and I love it, very spa like. I just hope it has enough Co-Q10 in it to be effective.

That was one of the first toners I ever used and I really liked it- that one, the Klairs Supple Preparation Toner and the Cosrx Centella Toners were the first ones I ever tried.

I love and use a LOT of toners in my routine. I start with the Tiam B5, then isntree’s green tea and end with the classic snail mucin (cosrx). I am allergic to rice (even topically!) so no rice toners. I splurge on the Dr. Ceuracle one which I loved and then I try a number of others. So far those testing toners haven’t stollen a place into the I’ll buy this again. I just started testing Heartleaf Calming Moisture Essence and I haven’t used it enough to have an opinion. I’m also testing this Purito Fermented complex 94 Boosting Essence and it’s no Dr. Ceuracle… but I just started it. I’m thankful that you mention when things have rice so I know to avoid them! I did get 2 to try (I use so many toners I don’t like to spend more than $20 on them….

My holy grails are the vegreen mucin toner and the aplb glutathione toner, love those two. I alternate in the Benton green tea toner and the lotion. I'm dry, mature with acne prone skin.❤

My favourite is Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner. It's a milky toner that comes in a huge 500ml bottle and is $15-$20 depending where you buy it. It would work well for all skin types. I'm combo skin and love it all year round. They also have a lotion type but haven't tried that one yet.

My favorites: Numbuzin #3 glow essence Farmacy Honey Milk Regelica Vit C Immunity Support Essence History of Whoo Cheongidan Radiant Rejuvenating Balancer History of Whoo Hwanyu Imperial Youth Balancer Jin Jung Sung Soothing essence toner (same as the one you had in the video) La Mer The Treatment Lotion (don’t laugh😂) Tir Tir milk skin toner I have tons of toners/essences but these are definitely my favorites 🖤

Great Essences Sarah. I love, love my essences. I purchased the Hatomugi Milk Condioning Essence and I absolutely love it. I miss the Sukoyaka Suhada Urea Watery Lotion. I guess Amazon is no longer selling it? Haven’t found it on YesStyle either. But also am enjoying the Beauty of Joseon Ginger Essence and of course I Love everything from Punkang Yul. His calming essence is amazing as well as his eye cream. It is so so hydrating. It’s really stopped my lids from being so dry as well as under my eyes. Oh, I purchased The Rice Ceramide Essence and oh my word, it is heavily scented. It’s more of a gel, feels great and hydrating, but the scent is so strong, I’ve pushed it to the side.

My first toner ever which I love and it is very hydrating with just one layer is DearKlairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner. I am now using I’m from rice toner, but I don’t find it so hydrating as the Klairs’s toner.

Toners is what put korean skincare on the map for me. My favorite is Anua's heart leaf toner, and numbuzin #5 toner. I also like the I'm From rice toner. I also enjoy all of the Beauty of Joseon serums. (Which i don't think any of them made your list 😂).I am wondering if I put like 5 layers of toners with diff actives,do I really still need the serums with same ingredients. Are serums more concentrated than toner, or is it just textural difference (more viscose) ?!

I'm on my second bottle of BoJ Ginseng Essence and waiting for my first Skin1004 Probio Cica Essence Toner. I put the BoJ Essence into a small spray bottle since I always lose the Essence when I try to pour it out. It's also nice to spritz on in the late afternoon when my face is feeling hot.

My favorites so far & can't be without Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence, Dr.Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence, Cosrx 95 Galactomyces Essence & Snail Essence. And GREAT 🤦‍♀️ I got a BOJ Ginseng Water Essence from TJ Max, hopefully it's normal. I do like it but it's not a must have for me. TBH I'm not someone who purchases from TJ Max. I don't completely trust them as far as products being 100% authentic and or them being bad. Also I do believe there is a no return policy for the skincare so you just never know. I love essences and I feel like it's time to try something new. If anyone has some recommendations please comment.

There's definitely some good ones in here. I'm thinking of trying the BOJ. But I haven't tried I'm From (rice) yet... Anyhoo, I use websites like check fresh and check cosmetics for manufacturer dates, especially when I'm shopping at the tjmaxx up here in Duluth. The sites don't have every brand, but it's always worth checking 😊

If you have redness-prone, dry skin, I highly suggest Missha's Time Revolution Red Algae Treatment Essence. It reduces the redness in my face from rosacea and is pretty soothing. I probably have at least 10 essences/toners in my stash, but this is the only one I miss when I run out of it. Definitely a 10/10! Thanks for the recommendations, I'm going to try the one with azelaic acid!

I'm glad you mentioned Beauty of Joseon, I recently started using their Retinal Eye serum and it's a godsend, gentle and effective, also reasonably priced. I often wonder about TJ Maxx skincare, I wonder about the freshness... I laughed when you said Uff da, as many of my friends from Minnesota like to say. 😘😍

Have u got the new Numberzine #5 toner yet ? O Benton reformulated their Fermented eye cream and added lots of peptides. I got the Kaine Kombu toner a few weeks ago and I'm loving it , it kinda reminds me of the Amorapacifica green tea essence idk the effect after u put it on is similar. I just finished the Etude 2 x toner and the Thank you farmer rice toner I finished it on my body because I had it awhile and loved it so much for my body I'm thinking of repurchasing for that but I do like it on my face too . I just bought the Numberzine number 1 toner to replace the Etude but it's to early to tell if I love it . Dr c kombucha essence is a fave , Sk11 essence, Make Prem Safe me relief toner essence, song Jung 2 x toner omg I have so many I love the toner essence step . Marshals and TJ have had so many good skincare items and K beauty lately I almost picked up the BOJ ginsing toner because i never tried it but glad I didn't get it from there now that u say it's off, I still need to try and the new one . Do u know I never tried the I'm from rice toner , I still can't believe it and the Sung Joon one that I told u to try that u now love I still need to get 😂

Do you have a toner that is working well for you at the moment? The Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Water Essence is pretty light and in my opinion would be pretty friendly for most skin types, even problematic skin. Also the Nineless A-Control is really nice for blackhead and acne prone skin types. If you haven't tried it I think it is worth a shot.

@@NOBSBeauty I will try these. I tried the Haruharu, Dr. Cerucle, Make Prem and TIAM Vita B 5 (this one caused the least clogging), they all clogged my pores. Presently using the Madegascar Centella Tone Brightening Ampoule and it’s very hydrating in between I get a few clogged pores but it’s the only Kbeauty product thus far that has not massively clogged my pores so I was considering their toner. Kbeauty products haven’t as yet worked for me the way others rate it.

Sarah!!! ❤❤❤ a few very important questions, but FIRSTLY- this came at the perfect time. I’ve been binge watching all your old toner/essence videos, and I want to say: wow. I am so PROUD of you and your progress on your health journey. Compared to last year alone- you are GLOWING 💗💗💗🎉🎉🎉A mind blowing difference 💗 I adore the Neogen! I use it daily ❤ On the Kaine- I have been interested in replacing my Isntree Green Tea toner with the Kaine for the fermented tea. Would pairing that with the Neogen in my routine be redundant? (I do isntree green tea then follow with neogen prior to serum in the AM) I’m needing less “astringent willow bark” and more hydration, but adore tea and fermented ingredients. I’ve been afraid to try the Dr. Curecle and the ProBio Cica because of the oil element. I’m not oily, but I’m combination and very sensitive 🙈 NUMBUZIN 5+ toner- PLEASE review! I have started using it, but I don’t even have hyperpigmentation 😅 I just love the antioxidant content. Hoping you can see and answer any of these questions 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I look forward to every single one of your videos!!! 🥰💗

I agree! I was watching a video of hers even from just 10 months ago and the changes are night & day it’s crazy! Maybe we can get a video Sarah on everything you’ve done (diet changes, workouts, procedures, devices, etc)? 👀 Personally I don’t think the Kaine would be redundant! I think the antioxidant and hydration properties alone of the Kaine set it apart and make it worth using alongside the Neogen-plus tea is excellent for pore refinement! If you’re interested in a cica/centella toner, you might try the cosRX cica toner! Another lovely hydrating toner good for those who deal with dehydration with excellent reviews by many. Missha 5x Essence also uses a cica yeast ferment if that’s more your fancy!

ALSO, I totally forgot: Would you ever consider a FTE (first treatment essence) review? Sadly, Missha is not cruelty free, and I was looking to the Secret Key, but it contains dimethicone, and I’m not a fan of that being in the FIRST product I use on my face 😩💗

Where did you find that Missha isn’t cruelty free? Only asking cuz I was just on the website and all the products I clicked on said they were cruelty free (never know who to trust these days)😅

@@Storm411z they sell in China/ does that not make them not? I thought that meant Missha had to go through animal testing. I checked “Cruelty free Kitty” and they are usually quite a reliable source… I would LOVE to be wrong. 😅😅😅😅😅😅 because I have been wanting to try the FTE 5x for a while.

I didn't like the I'm From Rice Toner. It stung my skin, it was also sticky and one of those products that sat on my skin. Then I tried Thank you Farmers Rice Toner and sadly I didn't care for it either. It's super thick and felt heavy on my skin. But because I'm a sucker for milky toners I'm curious how the BOJ compares to the I'm From Rice and Thank You Farmer. If the Dr.Ceuracle Kombucha Tea Essence is too much you can always mix it with a more watery toner/essence. I got a free PC Resist Advanced Replenishing Toner and I find the texture more of a serum than a toner. Although I love this toner it can feel heavy. I mix it with a more watery toner/essence. I was using the Cosrx Hydrium Watery Toner until I ran out so I'm currently mixing it with the BOJ Ginseng Water Essence. I highly recommend trying if you have a toner/essence that's on the heavier side

With Neogen I saw no difference and BOJ Ginseng Essence broke me out My favourite toner is Barr Centella Calming Ampoule Toner It works and I hit toner/ampoule step in 1 with this product

I don't think I've tried the Toner from Barr but adding to my cart right now, I've had great luck with Barr and in my opinion, they are under-rated!

The one and ONLY time I bought a skincare product from TJ Maxx was a complete waste of money. I brought the product home and did a little research. Turned out the cleanser was 11 years old!!!! I threw it in the trash.

It is super hit or miss, sometimes I get really lucky, like I have finding Skinfix products there. Not sure what the deal with the toner I picked up is but it is definitely not fresh or good. Sadly I think it is garbage and feels like such a waste. 😬

Here is an interesting fun fact....I asked a family member to pick me up some Tatcha products while in Japan....they could not find it anywhere so they asked. Apparently you cannot purchase Tatcha in Japan. Looked at some of the products I currently have....claims to be Japanese skincare and is supposedly made in Japan. Wondering if this is a thing....brands claiming to be K or J beauty....but not sold in their country of origin - just in the US. Seems misleading as a brand. So dissapointed as I love Tatcha moisturizers.

Numbuzin #5 toner I use on my arms (body/ chest) everyday trying to get rid of freckles do you think that will work? If not what will? I am also using the RNW Essence I love it so much! (On my 2nd bottle of it too )Just re-ordered the CosRX Peptide Booster … I’ve got so many tubes to Tretnoin I’ve been thinking of putting that on my arms at night too or any samples if retinols I have ones I don’t use any more … thanks for these!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍
