I see this as the last hurrah for IPS as the next gen moves into oled. Its the best ips monitor at 4k with the highest refresh rate, At the top end right now theres only 3 monitors. This one, the Samsung Neo g8 and the Alienware Ultrawide OLED.

who said that next gen moves into oled ? Micro LED is clearly better than oled because of no risk of burn in and same picture quality and will be the future

I will be honest (even since its a sponsored unboxing) this monitor is still insane with Nano-IPS over OLED. For sure you should give it a try if you can!

Great monitor .. love the colours…but sometimes I need to switch it to FPS setting to make the image brighter during dark scenes…. I do wish it had more local dimming zones which would make it so good

there is issue with this monitor when turn HDR ON - then lauch a game the sharpness is 50 but acting like 100 . so every time i change sharpnes to 60 and then 50 to solve the problem

The fatal flaws for me were the backlight flicker frequency, which gave me eyestrain, and the color temp/brightness change on the right side of the monitor.

Gaming is awesome on this monitor its butter smooth...the G Sync implementation is also very good...the colors are great I went for this one because the Samsung Neo G8 G7 are curved and some of them have quality issues and the alienware Oled is only 1440p. Its an IPS so the blacks are not so good but ist ok..for an IPS its very good. The only downside of this monitor is the price and that its only semi HDR but i knew that when i bought it...i like it a lot so far... this monitor will last until 4K Oled comes to 32" or 27" sizes but thats gona take a while...

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 S32BG85 is a bit better than the LG 32GQ950-B. The Samsung has a higher refresh rate, delivering a smoother gaming experience and a sharper image, but there's a bit more black smear behind fast-moving objects. The Samsung looks way better in a dark room, as it has a significantly better local dimming feature, better contrast, and better black uniformity. According to Rtings. But it is one of the top monitors.

The curve, matte coating (the LG is semi gloss) and scanline issues are what keep me from buying it. But yeah, miniled is much prettier.

The NEO G8 has sooo much issues and it also a VA panel with Mini LED tech. The LG has better contrast and blacks it is better, IF only the neo g8 had no issues and was IPS I could take it for that 240hz 4k
