Thank you so much for creating this content. I just started training to be an SDR. The company has their own system to sales, but I just was not getting it. A quick search on RU-vid lead me to your videos. It really made the art of cold calling click. I am still stumbling on the discovery pivot to making the appointment, but thanks to your advice, I am getting better incrementally. Thanks again!
Notes: Master copywriting Master tonality Build internal relationships at your company The more your name is known and know to hit numbers the more trust they’ll have towards you and will receive opportunities to promotion If nobody likes you and you hit your numbers nobody will want to promote you The easier you are to work with the more advancement
Why do you have so many Hebrew messages haha? Also, I always ask for reply rate if other people are boasting about good content.. I would never trust someone elses way of telling the story before I tried my own, its true for every product.
Hey Patrick, I hope you are doing great. I was scrolling down on RU-vid while thinking about how I could be good at sales or as a business development executive? What are the important things that I should do to excel as BD and here we go. Your video appeared on my YT timeline and TRUST ME, it's really amazing and helped me. I'm going to apply all of these three things from now. I actually wrote down these three pieces of advice on a paper. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
I think you hit the head right on the nail when you were talking about tonality. I think that's the key to my failure. When I call people, I sound like old Ebeneezer Scrooge! I sound like, "Hey Patrick I really don't want to call you or talk to you, but because this is a phone sales job I have to call you and read this pitch. I already know you're going to say no, because everyone does and I wish I didn't have to talk to you." That's how I sound on the phone, and I can't seem to fix it. One thing is, maybe I also feel that way. I already know they're going to say no, because everyone does, so why bother? I honestly don't know how sales is even a thing anymore. No one likes sales people or wants to talk to them. They treat them very rudely, at least this is the perception I get all the time from people I try to call!
Getting rejection is just part of the sales job. You just got to try different things out if your script doesn't work. I have plenty videos on openners on my channel you can check out. Best of luck!
Yes in my early sales journey i too faced this issue, but i tacked it with working in the ratios ... Ratios to number of calls to people who picked the call to those whonlistened to pitch to those who were intrested to those who brought the item... Then the rejections didnt matters
Hi Patrick as per your experience, what is the best time to do cold calls to people or professionals in the US where you get a good answers or interactions.?
Patrick, this lesson is priceless. It's super simple, not easy, but simple. If anyone just masters the principles here, I believe they will be light years ahead of the typical methods being used.
As I am applying for SDR position, I saw all of your videos, one topic that I am really interested in is the template/ business plan for the SDR quarterly or yearly.
Hey Patrick I'm an and an someone looking into getting into sales, and I know something very imported to have is experience. I have some experience in Ecommerce working on setting up the sales, but is there a college degree that companies want? Thanks!
I had 15 SDR interview this month, and they keep rejecting me for the lack of experience even as I have run few agencies and master lead gen, why is shit happening?
I feel you. So strange that an SDR is an entry level job, yet they want a year or two of experience. How do you enter? I got lucky and just landed a job with SAP as an SDR. I have zero experience in sales, but i guess the interviewer thought I'd be alright and have me a shot. Good luck, friend!
Well, this was the most helpful video I’ve ever watched! Thank you for honest advices! Now you have a new subscriber. :) Can’t wait to hear more advices.
Thanks for your videos, Patrick! They are such a huge help in my own sales career and development. Also, appreciate the book recommendations you gave in this video!
Hey Patrick, love the video. My question is, where can you pivot if you realize Sales isn't right for you? I know some leave sales because of the stress and pressure; therefore, what roles can you pivot to? If any...
You are amazing, as someone that is young and hungry to be the best in sales. Your videos have been invaluable in progressing my career. I have my first interview next week to get into a BDR program and these tips are extremely helpful.
This is gold Patrick!! It's the examples and recommendations that are making this top tier content. I've already heard people talk about your videos at my company.
