@GreatAzp Akaza is the most brainless character to play. The only reason he's hard to play with is because he takes the most damage and he doesn't much damage without using an assist gauge. You fix those two simple things he's easily an A-tier minimum. But as of right now he's a brainless low-tier character.

As an Akaza main, honestly this gameplay is pretty good. Literally the only downsides he has is low damage and meter management. If he didn't have such bad meter management, he'd be sick.

The first time I ever heard you say that Akaza was a low tier almost threw my phone because I’ve beaten alot of good Akaza’s but the ones who are really good with him are almost unstoppable/ unbeatable. When they learn how to get through your defense in every way possible its GG and when they learn how to time certain moves and how to use his moves correctly its simply just becomes unfair at that point

The literal best akaza was beaten by a good Rengoku tho. I’ve faced good Akazas too but he’s definitely low tier. Most of the akazas I’ve defeated I could tell that they would have beaten me with almost anyone else.

In a sense yeah, the base gameplay takes inspiration from the developers previous Ninja Storm titles, but there are of course some differences due to it being a different theme.

It's a pretty good game, I had a lot of fun with it myself. Gameplay is solid, good animations and it's really fun to fight and kill Demons. I do wish there was more freedom with how you could replay missions in the Story Mode, as character choices are limited, but Versus mode can be pretty fun playing with all sort of different character combinations. The online has a healthy enough community so you can also play online in matches or even try out ranked against other players.

shadow deserves it, there was too much poking and playing it safe, kiba was pussyfooting too much and relying heavily on his ally save when it was riskier but more rewarding to use it for an offensive approach
