Foursquare Rum Distillery is located on a former sugar plantation that dates back to approximately 1720, within the tiny Caribbean island of Barbados. The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996, distilling operations and blending are currently directed by Richard Seale, 4th Generation Trader/Distiller of R.L. Seale & Co.

Greetings and sorry for the late reply. As for the Four Square 2011.. ..very (Very) alcoholly. I would say the strongest rum I've had by far (120 proof). Good nose and well rounded flavor. Looking forward to other Four Square selections. Thanks again.

Tried the Sovereignty at a bar a couple nights ago. Was a bit concerned about the proof since I've always stayed in the 80-86 proof range, but man it was some special stuff. For how potent it is, there was just so much flavor to it that it still remained totally drinkable for me. At first to be entirely honest I was a bit unimpressed with it, but every one of my usual rums I've had since then just haven't even come close to being as good. I'm lucky enough to have a liquor store near me that carries all three of these offerings at retail, but at the moment they're all kinda out of my price range. Might have to pick one up at the end of the school year! Also funny thing about these, at this liquor store I mentioned, all three of these have basically been collecting dust on the shelves for months now. While they're not EASY to find over here in MA, they're definitely not too hard either, have found them at a handful of spots and in most cases, they're on the shelf for a while.

Thinking about grabbing a bottle of the 2010 to celebrate my graduation in december, a few stores around me have it in stock. Appreciate the in depth review of these products, i find it hard to justify spending 100 on a single bottle when i know nothing about it. Cheers 🥂
