Frontline Heroes are your tanks and bruisers-these are the characters that can soak up damage and keep enemies from attacking their weaker allies. They also tend to focus on disrupting the enemy’s line, opening up holes for allies to breach and flank.
Lord Knossos is your standard Bruiser, and his abilities let him deal damage over time, AoE (area of effect) damage, and a sprinting ability that lets him get to the enemy’s backline. He’s a great starting character, and his high damage lends him to sharing a role with Melee DPS.
Rutger is a control tank that soaks up damage while also stopping enemies from getting to his allies. He can knock enemies around, put a wall between them, gain shields, and even slow them down. These work together to let him keep his allies safe while taking attacks himself.
When it comes to a healthy tank, The Margrave is your man. His abilities consist of buffing various stats for himself, lowering stats of enemies, doing damage over time, and stunning his foes. He’s a great example of what a pure tank should be.
Pakko is a combination Frontline-Support Hero, and his kit revolves around freezing enemies. He can apply debuffs, buff himself, heal himself, and deal AoE damage. He can even roll through enemies, which makes him great at getting to the enemy’s backline.
