The Best (and most affordable) Electrical Multi-Functional Pliers! | Husky 6-in-1 Pliers Review 

I've been an electrician for over 30 years. My every day carry for wire strippers have always been the Ideal Super T-Strippers. I think if you tried them, you'd really like them. By far, some of the best on the market for cutting and stripping wire. You can find them at Lowe's or online. As an electrician we also use them often to cut 8-32 and 6-32 screws. I've also started to carry those Husky strippers in my pouch since last year. I use them mostly as a set of needle nose pliers but it's nice they have some of the other functions built in as well. They don't strip or cut nearly as well as the Ideal Super T-Strippers do, but as a backup set in a pinch, I can get the job done with them. For standard every day carry 9" electrician pliers, I use either Klein or Knipex. But when using the Klein pliers, I always purchase the model # HD20009NE version. They have the beefier hand grips/insulation but also the hardened cutters which allows them to cut soft copper easier, but also steel nails and smaller screws and bolts without damaging the cutters, and they last longer as well. No other pliers on the market can compare although lately I've been using Knipex pliers and so far I've been impressed.

I have those pliers and they work great for what they are and money spent. I also have a harbor freight Doyle version of those pliers and they work great like these pliers. Don't get me wrong these are good pliers (husky) but the Doyle pliers work equally as well as these husky version check them out. They will make a great backup for the husky version.
