Deathstroke has both the best and worst fight in the series

In the harley quinn fight I didn’t know that you can swap platforms so i just had to beat every enemy as fast as possible without critical strikes

Some of my favourites were probably mr freeze (the Arkham city one as a child was SOO SCARY AND DIFFICULT) but now it’s still such fun, Ivys was rlly cool and different, Harley and Joker from Batgirls dlc I had fun with as well. But I think the best one to see if probs Deathstroke from origins.

Honestly wish Arkham Knight/Red Hood’s boss battle was similar to Mr. Freeze’s fight. Since Jason knew all of Batman’s moves, it would’ve been cool to have to find a way take him down.

Poor Black Mask. He was so disrespected.

I'm curious what happened during the development on Knight that they had to take shortcuts for some of these boss battles. Well tbf I would be lying if I'd say I play the Arkham games for boss fights.

After his battle in Knight, Deathstroke tells you to pull over and finish it like a man. I'm like, "I wanna, dude. But Rocksteady wanted a tank battle.

Tanks aside, cuz that was bad all in itself, but the fact that Deathstroke got one shotted in AK is laughable man . Crazy

The predator boss fight with Jason is my favorite in knight. I think the professor pyg boss is also enjoyable.

My favorite in Knight is Batman and Catwoman vs Riddler.

All of the boss battles in Arkham knight is with the BATMOBILE except for Riddler and Killer Crock. My fav boss battle in the Arkham verse is the last boss battle in Arkham city Clay face it had good details in it so for me it is the best one.

Mr Freeze is undoubtedly my favourite boss fight in not only the Arkham games, but any game ever

I'm generally hesitant to face Freeze on New Game Plus, that's a tough nut to crack.

Heck the Ra's fight being a dream makes sense since he is technically a ninja

Arkham Knight is my favorite game of them all. This games are not just about Boss battles,thats one thing Arkham knight is not better but everything else i think Knight does better. But that Freeze boss fight i have to admit was the one i was the most eager to do on the second playtrough and im a bigger fan of combat sections

I love the original concept of Joker’s final boss fight in Asylum where he was basically mid-transformation, looking gangly and emaciated as he crawls around like an ape. In my dream world, this form would serve in a predator section where Batman is hiding from Joker, who is basically strong and agile enough to climb walls. Hence, vantage points become useless (no different than the boobytrapped gargoyles later in the game). Also, when Joker spots Batman, he could randomly pick up a living goon and throw him towards Batman’s location (a funny gag). For the most part, if you grapple up, he will follow you and subsequently pull you down if you don’t glide away; escaping in time just means he rips the gargoyle out. Using every tactic possible, hitting him three times with explosive gel on walls would trigger the next phase-the regular final fight in the actual game as Joker has reached full transformation. Not only does the final fight have both predator and combat sections, the first phase uses Batman’s first gadget he acquired (explosive gel); the last phase uses the last (ultra batclaw). (Edit: to up the stakes, there’s a time limit signifying the amount of time Batman has before his own transformation (probably the suit’s biometric analyzer relaying info to Oracle, who tells Batman about the time his has left). While not on the list, Man-Bat was very disappointing. A giant flying bat with super sensitive ears is taken down by hand rather than using loud sounds, which is a cliche but better than the final product. There’s a cathedral in Arkham Knight, where you find the dead assassins leading to the League. If you could go in, I’d imagine Man-Bat made a nest of the area. In the final confrontation, you’d use his own home against him with ringing bells stunning him enough for a beatdown or injecting his meds. The thing is, unlike regular predator sections, any sound you make (foot steps, cape flaps when gliding, the grapnel itself) is loud enough to get Man-Bat’s attention (like Killer Croc’s fight in Asylum). The only thing that’s useful is the batarang and explosive gel, which are used as distractions so you can get a good aim at the bells (which are probably blocked by the infrastructure or high up in the cathedral that requires you to climb…the old fashioned way through vents, ladders, and scaffoldings). All the while, you’re avoiding jump scares from the beast as he hides in the shadows, corners, and ceilings. Your only way to keep a track on him is either detective vision or the same sound-tracking thing similarly used in the Asylum Croc fight; there would be more noise being made despite you just standing there, alerting you to hide as Man-Bat is near. Once the bells are rung (maybe instead with several primed explosive gels in the bell), it’s enough to have Man-Bat writhing in pain, giving you the chance to stick it to him.

Not going to lie, Deathstroke boss battle in Arkham Origins has one of the best combat cinematics in the history of gaming, as a kid I was so excited after beating him I tried to do those moves lol

admittedly, i was really hoping he'd have a fake-out section in origins where he deems electrocutioner the best boss fight in origins, but i can appreciate the video we got

the deathstroke fight could easily have been great if u do the tank battle and instead of instantly beating deathstroke, instead he jumps to like a rooftop with a bunch of militia guys on it and u have to fight him the way u do in Origins only this time u also have to battle a bunch of milita guys at the same time making it that much harder. Also i think the Arkham Knight section should have been an evolving boss battle where u start in the predator section and then move into a combat section only to be forced back into predator and all the while, instead of Jason just sitting in one place, he's using Batman's own tactics against him personally by hiding under floors, pulling Batman up from gargoyles, that kinda thing

I love and hate the Mr. Freeze battle. And hate it in a good way because I think it’s the only Arkham Boss that makes me feel very nervous. You’re locked in one room and hearing his footsteps and robotic voice as he stalks you and adapts to your tactics by icing the vantage points is terrifying. And it tests your patience. It encapsulates the character so well. He’s one of my favorite Batman villains.

I used to have a hard time with the Deathstroke boss fight in Origins. That being said, that one is the best one

Occasionally, the Cobra Tanks can blow up on their own (including Deathstroke's tank), I assume they must have fallen from a certain height or it's a crazy glitch.

Arkham Knight is an easy 9/10 game, but part of that 1 point missing is from the boss fights.

I agree for Deadshot. I also want to talk about Two Face and Harley Quinn in the dlcs, theyare more or less the same boss fight, but you're forced to use characters weaker than Batman and it gives a proper fight to these two characters that were treated like a joke in the main game.

There's no shortage of good boss fights in Arkham Asylum in an effort to be different: I'm gonna go with best is the Scarecrow boss fights and the worst although I don't think there really is a bad one from a story perspective but I'm gonna go with the first Titan fight which you just had to wait for him to collapse. Arkham City: again not to disagree with your opinion but merely trying to pick different options but my best I'm gonna go with the Penguin Museum Boss fight. For my worst: hard to argue with the dead shot Boss fight. One of the easiest ones to complete. Agreed. The Deathstroke boss fight in Arkham Origins deserves to be in a class all on it's own. First thing I think of when I think Origins. Worst: Anarchy. Just an annoying red blob on my screen. Arkham Knight's best: Dual Takedown fights with Nightwing and Catwoman.( Penguin Boss Fight and Riddler Boss Fight)

I personally didn’t like the way in which Raj was fought….i mean, it was well done, but in all 4 main games, not once do they have a standard 1-1 fight, instead Batman is in this sort of dream state and, yeah it’s a bit of a mess…..had they fought in a more normal way earlier, or even in another game I could appreciate the Arkham City fight better….oh well, at least there’s Deathstroke

Asylum Worst : Killer Croc. Say what you want, but Titan Joker have some challenge and did the show. Croc have good ambiance, ruined by non-existent difficulty. Asylum Best : Scarecrow (multiple encounters and amazing ambiance).

For me the Origins Battles are pretty good, Deathstroke being the best in the series by a country mile, all other games are trash can tier for bosses, ever Mr. Freeze which looking back is a hard fight to screw up

the joker titan boss fight at the end diminishes The joker's character IMO. he is known to put on a show and him taking the titan formula didn't won me over as a boss fight. this is not how the joker does it.

Arkham knight had potential to be the best game ever if it had better boss fights and didn’t use the tank for 80% of the game if they needed more time on the game I could’ve waited If that means making the game better
