Glad to see the Beyerdynamic Tygr 300R still being recommended! Such a comfortable headphone, superbly accurate yet FUN, warm sounding for competitive (HD560 are too clinical and need an amp) and cheap at 150$. Only beyers without murderous treble, I can't tolerate the DT1990 treble peaks. Plus they sound amazing for movies and are decent to good for music depending on genre. Just add a modmic and you have unbeatable headset value!

I gravitate to IEMs, because as a glasses wearer I have yet to find a pair of over ear headphones / headset that don't eventually give me a headache from the extra pressure exerted on my glasses contact points. I can vouch for the Crinacle Zeros - stunning sound at a $50 price point.

I picked up your wireless headset of the year suggestion, SteelSeries Arctis 7. Excellent suggestion. I had a bad experience with SteelSeries about 10 years ago, and have run through about every other brand and headset. This is a huge step up from what I had before (first release of the nova pro wireless). Thank you!

I tried the A30 and got really frustrated by them integrating all of the features, even when using them on PC, onto a mobile app over bluetooth. What used to be a simple opening of a software to make an adjustment turned into having to open the app, wait for it to connect and hope the change actually went thru and it usually didnt.

I'm glad my Hook X doesn't seem to have any kind of QC issue but when I was researching them I saw many mixed reviews. From what I know they are a relatively new company so hopefully they become more consistent over time because these were definitely not cheap.

I have the 1770 and love them for games even though they're pretty pricey and exhaustingly detailed but I find that results in me having to listen to a lower volume level than normal too which is nice too.

I got the HBB Rapko… they are amazing… got the Zero’s and a few others as well… I main the HBB Rapko for both gaming and music… my set definitely doesn’t have the issues that you described.

Right after I bought the Epos H6Pro and the GSX300 in a bundle for amazing 135€ yesterday. Very good video as always, glad to see you back! Edit: I had to send back the Arctis Nova 7 because I have really sensitive ears and noticed a high pitched noise in the right ear using it in Bluetooth and „dongle mode“ (even louder with this one). That’s why I didn’t went with another wireless option

The H6 pro is really good, however I reckoned you ditch that GSX 300, it doesn’t even work properly with windows. They stopped updating it so you can’t get access to the 7.1 and EQ features. But even if you could the thing does not have any output power whatsoever. 100% volume and it’s still quiet as hell. That’s with the H6 pro it was bundled with. Id honestly just use your motherboard audio, it’ll be better than that. Maybe you’ll get lucky and have no issues, Good Luck 👍

I love my Nova Pro Wireless. I was one of those affected by the ANC nubs touching my ears, but Wicked Cushions came out with some slightly thicker earpads that totally solved that for me.

I have the tygr 300r and 900 pro x and are excellent choices, currently using the audio technica r70x now though as I like the sound better although the pads are uncomfortable as the hole is too small for my ears

I had the Astro a30 and was super impressed, the mics the sound the features it's a great headset. For me it falls short on comfort, I just couldn't have it on for long. I got the SteelSeries nova pro wired, I can't believe I'm back on a wire but boy oh boy does it sound good. I keep considering getting the wireless novas but at $730 Australian it's abit of a joke. I would have got the nova 7x if they had them in stock.

Over the moon for my Nova Pros. Simply can't stand distracting cables hanging off me anymore so literally only use wired headphones when I have to for music(recording) now. The noise cancelling is _huge_ for my apartment situation, alleviates anything from constant ambience of old water pipes in the walls, air valve whooshing and PC fans to the portable AC and racing wheel force feedback motors. For the first time I actually use software "Spatial Audio" settings too, these ones actually _dramatically_ help locating enemy position in my main game. Would've loved if they cost less but don't regret buying them for a second, enormous QOL improvement. Lucked out that my ear shape is compatible with the "ANC nub", can see how it is a dealbreaker to some, would've been for me for sure (considering even a cable is too annoying..!).

Yes the legend is back and I’ve been waiting a while for this video I’ve got the Nova 7 and after testing and comparing with the Nova Pro Wireless for a whole month, Nova 7 was the clear winner, because to my ears it has 95% of the Nova Pro Wireless sound quality, almost identical imaging and it’s much more comfortable. I’ve found my perfect custom EQ and have replaced the fabric ear pads with the official SteelSeries Nova Leatherette ear pads and it’s now a perfect headset

@@tristanporter6225 Have a look at GadgetryTech RU-vid channel for his Nova 7 EQ, I’m using his same EQ. He measure headsets on a measuring equipment. He now has 2 EQ’s. Original he has done a while back and recently he done another video about SteelSeries Sonar EQ now on the GG Engine. I copied that and tuned the Nova 7
