The Aussies sledge in a very calculated manner. They see a bit of an opening, and then they go for it. They don't just mindlessly abuse. It's an art that can be learnt. In the words of Steve Waugh "we just try to create doubts in the mind of the batsman and make him second guess himself"

So the correct comparison would be can India win a HOME series just as Aus played India at Home. Australia still had a full strength bowling attack. India would have annihilated Aus at home still with a full strength bowling attack without Kohli.
