Wagner has more than 200 wickets in just 47 test matches and he hasn't yet played a single white ball match for NZ. God.... He's so underrated, but aren't all NZ players underrated.

Yeah pretty awsome plans and execution, As an Aussie have always been impressed By the NZ cricket team given the size of population and that Rugby is their number one sport (best in the world btw).
Kane is the best captain of this generation. NZ is not a very strong team but still they choke strong teams likeAus in 2015 WC India in 2019 WC semis and Eng in 2019 finals. Kane has got a very good cricket brain
@@paarthbarkur8481 there's no nostalgia, actually the legends at that time played cricket for passion. Now all play for money sponsorship etc. Didn't u see how many brands will be there on players shirts. And there's no fire in players anymore. Those eye contact battle between batsman and the bowler. At that point bowlers used to be more threatening. Nowadays cricket has transformed into a pure batsman's game. There's no ferocious pace , no bowlers who can get tremendous spin like warne, murali kumble, mustaq etc. No one literally can bowl at 90 mph consistently. Not even a single soul. At that time akthar and lee were like 90 mph is their warm up speed. Their pace would raise every ball 93.8 mph to 94 to 94.4 to 95 ..... + Swinging both ways in and out. Facing that speed with swing lol it's a terror experience. Starc has lost his charm, Cummins has swing but no exceptional pace. No huge spinner of the ball. Shami isn't consistent. Bumrah is just successful as a fast bowling spinner with cutters .what's going on. Can we see another shivnarine chanderpaul who would stand like a tower in between loss and windies? Can we see the determination of dravid anymore. Even 80's were not as such great compared to the period of 1993-2012. The golden era of two decades. . cricket experienced everything.
@Chinmay Kulkarni I think when u came out to this world u we're sponsored by cricketers of this generation by sticking ur photo on their jerseys😑😂😂. Take ur time and grow up kid. Even u will remember ur childhood as time passes and u grow old
@Chinmay Kulkarni I am not 80 year old 🤣 I am 19 and I have watched cricket since 2004 , I was really interested in cricket of 90's Because of Sachin. He was at his peak in 90's which I felt I missed. So I started watching almost all 90's matches from different sources RU-vid DVDs etc. It's not any nostalgia and all. It's about exploring the truth. My comment was in the reply for who said nowadays test cricket at it's best. Nowadays test cricket is slumping down. Players don't have patience and play test cricket like t20 and end the match in 2 to 3 days.
I was laughing so hard whenever Wagner bowled overs to Wade. Watching Wade just cop the balls to his arm and stare at Wagner almost trying to intimidate him was very amusing to me.
Still I remember that test match that had played between NZ and aus just after that Phil Hughes incident......... Kiwi bowlers had bowled more than 100 overs but without a single bouncer ........ Spirit of Cricket 🔥♥️♥️
@@mahnarayan2185 you're clearly brain dead if you don't think he achieved greatness, this series will always be remembered as Labuchange and Wagner series
@@darwinnunez5793 When you roll back the stats, its always a numbers game especially in cricket... I think you are BRAIN FADE just like your Steve Smith ?
Mah Narayan you just mentioned it’s a numbers game and steve smith in the same sentence. I hope you can see how senseless and delusional your comment. Prime example of your hypocritical and delusional thinking. Furthermore addressing what he has achieved. Firstly he has definitely achieved a great personal milestone and managed to get the better of the worlds best test player Steve Smith which in my opinion is a massive achievement. Furthermore he wasn’t available to destroy India in the first test but luckily they had the newcomer Jamieson who teared Indian and kohli apart. He made a comeback in the second test where he and co. Made light work of Kohli’s and India’s clueless game plan once more. He might not be a multi format cricket athlete but he is certainly dominating the hardest format in cricket which is no doubt test Cricket. Your statement has no logical nor evident sense to it and is complete nonsense whatsoever. Remember its a numbers game and not a delusional and biased game. 😉
@@ebnhussain701 Agreed that Indians were short of executing their plans against NZ. But I do t agree with your opinion that Steven Smith is world best test batsmen. One should have some charecter and sporting spirit as a human. I think he doesn't have both , it's already proved . Hope you got this correct ??
Yeah, nearly slips into my best combined Aussie/ NZ side of the last 20years or so ! Would be a good pick 3rd pace bowler after McGrath and Lee. Top notch fielder ( Anderson and Lee were/ are very good too) and as you say " a great team man 100% effort always. ) 😎👍
A combination of the pitch and poor technique (especially from Smith), a view shared by many experts too. Will be interesting to see how these batsmen fare against the likes of Bumrah, Shami and Navdeep Saini, who can all bowl at-least 15kphs quicker than Wagner.
@@pranaybhanot4057 it's interesting you say that because Australians face the quickest bowling on the quickest decks in domestic They'll be more likely to get caught out by spin
Wagner is an excellent cricketer. Always puts 100 % into everything he does and plays with a smile on his face. And now he's a World Test Champion with his team mates.
You have been my favourite test cricket bowler for many years. Sad to see you retire but thanks for your service to New Zealand. You have been brilliant
I'm an indian and I'm super impressed with wagner. I mean he is lacking pace but the way he executes every ball is amazing, the way he troubles batsmen with his tactics and consistency is pure talent. The way he has the stamina to bowl 50 over per match, his economy rate is also excellent! He gives his everything👏 full respect what a player👏
Lacking pace what do you expect from a fast bowler who is bowling 20-25 overs a day... 150ks... Man this guy is workhorse and bowls consistent late 120's and early to mid 130's.... I mean come on he is not like Starc who just come and bowl 10-15 overs a day in short spells... Wagner bowls longer spells so obviously he'll have less speed but more accuracy....
Vicky Gautam smh, did you just copied my comment from the previous video ? HA, don’t worry. I’ll take your pathetic attempts to replicate everything I do as a complement. But it’s called originality from your own words; you should definitely try it sometime!
Just love to see Steven Smith struggling and getting intimated , whenever he struggles he makes many memeworthy faces and hides his anger behind the face. Just love it.

Watching only this video repeatedly makes me firmly believe that New Zealand are the undisputed test champions of this generation! Such an impeccable line and length by Neil Wagner with ultimate field placement in every crucial moment of this package!! Unbelievably incredible !!!
When u laugh😂 seeing the batsmen struggle his bouncers and getting very close to injuries.. and then suddenly realize that India is the next to play against them😳.. that too in their home
It's not batting against bouncers they have a problem with. It's the way Wagner varies the pace of his bouncers making it hard time when you try to pull them. No other bowler varies the pace of his bouncers as much as Wagner does.
Troubling the best batmen in the world, in their home conditions, because you're bowling to a field set up for your bowling, and taking wickets to boot. Nobody can criticise that as anything other than great, disciplined bowling.
I mean this happened before NZ's young talent exploded and they got people like will young, kyle jamieson, devon conway and also they were playing at the Aussies homeground so yeah if they face off again the results may change
