Kimberly Lemming is a funny fantasy author and a woman of color.. She wrote the book series "The time I got drunk and saved a demon.." Fast past, and I read all 3 books in 3 days... Highly Recommend

If you are looking for more diverse books in the fantasy space, I’d recommend Legendborn by Tracey Deonn and Babel by R.F Kuang. Kuang also wrote The Poppy War which I have not read yet but I’ve heard good things. So many people are raving about the Spark of the Everflame books so I really need to add it to my TBR.

Runes by Ednah Walters (POC author) is a Fantasy Romance series based on Norse Mythology. They are YA books, but a fun and have some great characters.

Oooh I love this type of update, especially with the faves and least faves. I am going to have to read The Veiled Kingdom asap, and I also really miss Lady of Darkness right now... why did I binge through that so quickly? lol 🤣 My only real goal was to reduce my audio time and make sure that I read more physically, which has been going wonderfully. I am reading at least 60% with my eyeballs again, which was switched last year!
