Best Mania is 18 worst is 36 the no crowd ruined like 2 years off great stuff like the arrival of the tribal chief, Drew becoming a main eventer, Seth work with Rey and Dom. Just a bad time
My favorite was WrestleMania 22. Rey Mysterio's entrance was iconic. Rey won the title against Randy Orton and Kurt Angle in a triple threat. That was a few months after Eddie Guerrero passed away.
Randy-Hunter sucked lol what are you talking about. It had the dumbest stipulation of all time despite having a legendary feud. And Matt vs Jeff was disappointing
Wrestlemania 17 is the greatest one of all time and it’s hard to beat. First theme music with Austin vs Rock II (My Way - Limp Bizkit), Undertaker vs Triple H, Kane vs Raven vs Big Show (Hardcore Championship), Eddie Guerrero vs Test, TLC match with the Hardys vs The Dudley Boyz vs Edge and Christian… and more. P.S. Wrestlemania 19 was also an AMAZING and underrated/underwatched one by fans. It is Stone Cold's last (full time) match in Austin vs Rock III, Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar, Booker T vs Triple H (Im still mad about that one but that's the show), McMahon vs Hogan (Still pretty cool regardless of the slower pace). I think the problem that most people had was the Undertaker handicap match against A-Train and Big Show. It left a lot to be desired and felt more like a Limp Bizkit intermission with a tribute to the troops as we had just started the campaign on the War on Terror. So it's overlooked for a slew of reasons, but I think there are more great matches on that card than there is buffer/filler matches.
YES. And 20 wasn't bad either but 19 was definitely GREATNESS. I remember my Dad using that black box to bypass the PPV or whatever he did. Good times.
It’s a damn shame that WM20 is marred by the Benoit tragedy… that finish with Eddy and Benoit sharing the ring as champs was the best. Not to mention JR loosing his voice on commentary… good stuff
I don’t think the event itself is marred by it because it’s one of the best roads to wrestlemania with Eddie Guerrero really as the main character, all the way through. I see wrestlemania as the end of season finale rather than a stand alone.
Wrestlemania 24 TOP TO BOTTOM, AWESOME. Honourable mentions 31, 30 would have been better if they didn’t end the streak, 28 is truly underrated, then 17-26 was just awesomeness, I honestly loved 24, 20 & 23 best amongst those ones. Let me say my Top 5 favorites though. 24, 23, 10, 17, 20, I should sneak 13 and 14 in there but I just love me some Wrestlemania.
Yall can keep Wrestle Mania. Best WWE event in history was Backlash, main event Triple H vs Rock, McMahon family all jump Rock and Stone Cold comes out after being gone for a year and takes out all the McMahons, while Rock gives HHH peoples elbow to win WWE title. Every match during that event was hype.
In my opinion the worst and probably the most boring Wrestlemania would be #11. Talk about a stale product with a flat card. The last 2 matches on the card were good but otherwise very underwhelming. Best one in my opinion is #17. You got a hot crowd, a red hot product, intriguing characters and storylines to get into and a very solid card.
You will never have a more hyped up WrestleMania than 17 in Houston TX. Best Pay-Per-View song - Limp Bizkit My Way. Rock vs Austin. Taker vs HHH Shane vs Vince Steeet Fight TLC - Hardys vs Dudley's vs Edge & Christian
9 and 11 were brutal. 17 was probably their peak, Top to bottom that card was stacked. To be honest they had a good run until wm32 then it fell off a cliff.
Wrestlemania 21 had the first ever MINTB, Rey Mysterio vs Eddie, John vs JBL, Batista vs HHH, Randy vs Taker, Kurt vs Shawn. not to mention the hall of fame had HOGAN, Iron Sheik, and ROWDY PIPER!
I liked wrestlemania 27 for one reason and Ik it may not be a good one but as a kid I saw my favorite wrestler at the time beat John cena while concussed to retain his wwe championship. The miz has always been one of my favorite wrestlers
WrestleMania 30 was decent other than the Undertaker's streak being broken. But Bryan winning the undisputed WWE championship absolutely amazing moment. Or as they called it "WWE World Heavyweight Championship" Cesaro winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, with that unforgettable moment lifting The Big show like he did.
Agreed! The only wrestlemania, aside from this year that I can make the argument for, that top to bottom I was glued to the screen and invested in every storyline.
Wrestlemania 21 might be my favorite Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio, HBK vs Angle Orton vs Undertaker, first money in the bank, Bastia and Cena become champions
1 of my favorite as well Eddie vs Rey, mitb, Orton vs taker, the piper pit with stone cold and the rise of Cena and batista (even tho the matches weren't very good they were epic moments )
@@paulsane480 triple h vs Batista is one of the best matches I’ve ever seen. HBK vs angle was great. Eddie’s last wrestlemania and against Rey like you said. Randy’s counter from choke spam too RKO on taker Is one of the best counters of all time. Big show sumo wrestling was hilarious too 😂😂😂
@@zebkirossolomon8047 I agree that their hell in a cell match and the entire rivalry which is far more important to me than a single match was one of the best ever but their wrestlemania match I just wouldn't consider on par with the rest of that card angle and hbk I can't believe I forgot about but 1 of the best matches ever ya card was stacked from top to bottom Cena and batista winning literally launched a new era
Calling 36 the worst because of no fans is an insult to the wrestlers who went out there and put on a show in awkward silence for you to watch at home. The Boneyard match was fun. The Firefly Funhouse match was fun. Drew's crowning moment was a feel-good moment even with no fans.
That doesn’t mean we had to enjoy it. You sir are in the minority enjoying anything from the pandemic era. I really do appreciate them going out and doing that in front of no fans, I’m sure it was just as awkward for them as it was us to watch. But personally I stopped watching wrestling during that era as listening to video game crowd noise, or a bunch of random people banging on some glass took away from the matches themselves
Not really an insult tbvh. Just because they say it’s the worst wrestlemania doesn’t mean they didn’t appreciate them going out and still giving us a show each week and still doing the ppv. We just hated it coz of the lack of fans and most of the stuff being a bit bland during that time (ofc with much reason with the pandemic)
WM 27 really had me confused as a fan in live attendance. With no commentary, that Miz-Cena main event seemed like a commercial break for a PPV event. So much dead space
WrestleMania 24 and 30 for me. Full of memorable images and even the mid card matches (Floyd vs the Big Show, the Belfast Brawl, the MITB Ladder match in WM 24 and the Andre the Giant Battle Royal in WM 30) were carefully booked.
I was born in 2003, so I never got to experience Wrestlemania 17 live. But I can say wholeheartedly that Wrestlemania 38 was the best Wrestlemania I’ve ever watched live. I’ve never had so much fun watching a wrestling event as I did over those two days.
Its gotta be 25 for me it was the first pay per view i ever watched plus it was on my birthday as kid. Nothing was cooler then seeing my favorite wrestler Rey mysterio beat JBL in record time. Also the match between Shawn Michaels and Undertaker was pretty legendary.
You've got to hand it to them on the Pandemic Mania, though. They turned out a pretty solid show that they had to completely refit for no live audience in less than a month. 17 really cemented my love of wrestling back as a teenager, but most people didn't even know that Stone Cold had turned heel by the end. Everyone at the watch party I was at reacted like it was Vince who had turned face. People just couldn't accept Austin as a heel. 20 might be my favorite, though, even if it never gets mentioned because of a certain main event. That main event triple threat was absolute FIRE though.
McMahon turned face at Wrestlemania 17 and you can't tell me otherwise! They would be faces until the Invasion PPV when Vince turned heel by not showing Austin enough attention forcing him to join the Alliance.
My best WM is WM 19. I think it was the ARCHETYPAL WM. Each match had a story and had stakes. My worst is uhm 32. Thank goodness the women carried the show!
Disagree about 36 honestly, funhouse match and graveyard match are amazing to rewatch and an incredibly underrated match was the triple threat for the belts with Morrison, Uso, and I believe it was Kofi. Weird format to have singles competition for the tag belts but the match itself was truly incredible. Another great match was Rollins versus KO that year where KO did the dive off of the sign that’s very rewatchable
You have to think, Austin vs Rock at WM 17 was in Houston Texas, Austin's home state. So when the crowd saw Vince interfere, they probably we're thinking that Vince was turning face, rather than Stone Cold turning Heel
Conttroversial pick here... Wrestlemania 20. I know Benoit's legacy got smeared by what he did, but truth was he was my favorite wrestler as a kid along with Eddie. Him winning the Heavyweight title was such a huge moment for me. Definitely one of the biggest standouts of my childhood.
I'd argue that if the main event of Backlash a month later was put as the main event of 2000, it'd make a better WrestleMania. But it is what it is I guess.
From the pandemic I’ll look back on the boneyard match and the ring of fire match with bray and Randy . Those were awesome and would not have happened other wise. Hell Roman might not have taken the break to reinvent himself either . Crazy to think about actually.
Best Wrestlemania I would say 21, 23, and 27. Obviously, everyone will say WM 17 was the best one just because what was mentioned in this video. But those are the ones I've mentioned that were the best Worst Wrestlemania were 26, 35, 36, 37 and any one where Lesnar was involved in the last 10 years including the ending of the streak, WM 31 and WM 34
@@JLWprime10 I totally disagree. The rock ruined. Miz x cena was a good feud. He is a good heel and was a solid wwe champion. The other matches and rivalries were not that good like del rio winning the rumble, Michael cole and lawler
I'm a Miz fan but they did Miz and Cena dirty with that whole the Rock interfering. Let him win that match clean. On top of the concussion that Miz got. It was a rough night. Miz being a good heel to Cena doesn't get talked about enough.
Ima be honest from how it’s shaping up, in a couple years wrestlemania 40 will be seen as the best wrestlemania ever, every single match has great build and has the potential to steal the show every single match is a must watch and I love it
Where is all the love for WM 12!? One of if not THE greatest match of all time between HBK and Hitman in an Iron Man, the backlot brawl with Piper and Goldust, Huckster vs Nacho Man, HHH gets PWNED by Warrior; Taker and Diesel have a classic, and so many more epic moments from that event!! The worst has to be WM2 with the three separate arenas where it was a fluster-cluck trying to watch all the matches at the same time!
Personal love Wrestlemania 18. The fact that you had Rock v Hogan, Stone Cold v Scott Hall, Edge v Booker T, Undertaker v Ric Flair, DDP v Christian, and an insane 4 corner tag match featuring 3 of the greatest tag teams of all time and none of them were ever the main event
17 and 20 Benoit winning WHC in a Triple threat match against Triple and Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero being they underdog in winning wwe championship against Brock Lesner
WM 24 for me personally was goated all around from HBK retiring The Nature Boy to Edge and Taker going into WM undefeated to the Triple threat match with The viper, The Game and Big Match John
The best WrestleMania was WrestleMania 18. I honestly don't watch bad WrestleMania's so I don't have really many on my list to draw from but I know it would have taken place between 2006 and 2019 with a subtraction of the HBK and Undertaker matches and the Brock Lesnar Undertaker match and WrestleMania 30 overall being an exception because that one stands out to me as one that I watched. So I'm going to go with WrestleMania 2, 11, 12, and 13. Those were all pretty lean years but WrestleMania 2 is actually pretty underrated overall so I don't think that's the worst one.
I watched smackdown and raw as a kid , but I watched my first ppv as wm27, as a kid I used to think Michael Cole vs Jerry lawler was a five start match
36 had Cena vs Wyatt and Aj vs taker is was pretty damn solid considering what they were dealing with. Mania 9 and 27 is the only right answer for the worst.
Honestly there is 2 matches from the pandemic era that I do really love. The boneyard match was fantastic and the money in bank at WWE headquarters, the ending was a little goofy but I still to this day think Otis shoulda been champ.
