glad to see that the Wacom one pen works, as I'm considering getting a Tab S7 FE myself. Quick question, What's the name of the stand you're using? was considering getting a lululook magnetic stand but I recently found out that the strong magnets interfere with the stylus on the galaxy tab at certain points in the screen.
Glad to hear it, Infinite Painter is a solid drawing app. Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to cover in future videos. Thanks for watching!
Just started using it. Looks promising .I would like to ask How to lock the screen zoom level? Also there is no option to know how much I have zoomed in or out. Thank you.
By default Infinite Painter saves in its proprietary .pntr file format. This file format can only be opened in Infinite Painter. However, as you said, you can save the document in PSD, PDF or export it as a JPG or PNG. Hope that helps!
It unfortunately does not have a text tool (so many tools but not that). I've also found that it doesn't import PSD files with layers (though it does export PSDs with layers). I still love the app.
I agree, the lack of text features in the app means you have to rely on other apps to add text to your illustrations. The PSD issue is an odd one cause like you said, you can export without any problems. Weird. Here's hoping they'll solve these items with future updates.
Yes, let's hope they fix the PSD issue. An interesting thing I discovered as a workaround is that Infinite Designer is a good app to make text for Infinite Painter. Wouldn't it be great if they could integrate them together? Like they do in Affinity Painter and Designer. @@DrawingWithAvi
I do prefer it to Procreate so far. More intuitive brush settings and not a million useless brushes(realistically you'll ever use like five 99% of the time).
I still haven't had the chance to play around in Procreate or Procreate Dreams yet. By most reactions, it seems to be the clear winner for iOS art apps.
True its amazing app I wish I know this sooner. I've been using Ibispaint, I am so disappointed and betrayed after purchased. Can you do more tutorials, I am still naïve using infinite painter😅
Yeah Ibispaint can be difficult to work with. I find Infinite Painter's interface a lot more straightforward. I think doing more tutorial videos for Infinite Painter is a great idea. Be sure to watch out for new videos soon. Thanks for the watch!
Unfortunately Infinite Painter is a raster pixel based app. You can create vector shapes but there's no vector pen tool available in the app. Thanks for the watch and comment 😄
My experience with the Tab S6 has been great so far, rarely do my drawing apps crash. Not too sure about the Tab S4, but it may be an issue of what version of Android it can support. My research shows that the last OS update for those devices was back in 2020. I hope that helps!
Great question. It depends on your budget. I prefer the Samsung tablets since they use Wacom EMR tech for their pens so the drawing experience is amazing. On a higher budget, any of the Samsung Tab S9 tablets are great, on the lower end the Tab S6 lite is solid. It's the tablet I use myself. Hope that helps!
Currently have a tab s8 (ultra) Love it for drawing, and I mainly use infinite painter on it, and I enjoy it enough to use it over photoshop. You wouldn't need the ultra for art, I'd even say it's a bit too big, but the tab s8/tab s9 are worth
