I love this series so much! I do find it kind of hilarious how the kebab banh mi uses pork though, when almost no kebab is made with pork lol (I think that's great though, since pork is my favourite meat)

back when I was still in gradeschool I had kebab almost everyday before class. I graduated from university last year and a couple of months into my first job. If calling kebab a bánh mì is wrong, then I dont wanna be right

So "ca dé" is the way the Chinese call the "kaya" spread, but adding the meaning to it. Ca dé (加椰) means "adding coconut", referring to the coconut milk. Also, there's one dimsum vendor on Nguyễn Thời Trung St. (D5) that has great ca dé sold at 50k each box as well. I've bought their ca dé several times. You can check it out some time then ;))

Riêng ở SG đã có vô cùng nhiều loại bánh mì rồi. Để ăn hết bánh mì của dải đất hình chữ S chắc Chad phải mất chục năm mất haha

Mình là người Hà Nội và đã ăn bánh mì tam giác từ hồi tiểu học lận, giờ mình tốt nghiệp và đi làm luôn rồi. Nên là bánh mì tam giác nó cũng phổ biến hơn mười mấy năm rồi nha. Có 1 thời gian dọc con đường mình đi gặp khá nhiều tiệm bánh mì kiểu này

For banh mi ca hop, the fish usually from 6-10hrs, so everything is really soft and easy to eat

You should try Bánh mì chả bò (you can find in some chains), and Bánh mì tôm chiên (kinda hard to find, there is one quite popular at Tô Hiến Thành street, dist 10)

Call Kebab banh mi is not wrong, kebab is the style of grilling the meat not the actual bread themself. The Kebab bread in Vietnam is the same type of dough that was using for Banh Mi.

I was also shocked you put the jerk-style chicken banh mi on the top tier...to me, that would be a couple of tiers lower than all the grilled stuff. As far as that last banh mi, I mean, technically, the word banh mi means bread. Sadly the word bread and the word for sandwich with a baguette are the same...which is common in the Vietnamese sandwich (e.g. think of the word com which means rice, but can also mean a meal/food). I think had they just made the bread for the kebab sandwich in the shape of a flat baguette, it would have been more "acceptable' as a banh mi.
