I love seeing actually good bases. Every time I tried to make a good looking base I defaulted into a factory and then I slap my face. Though this gave me quite a nice idea on what I want to do in the future. Since the new update allowing for 4 bases (ofc more if you set it to more) I'll just have like a huge district/village and every time I invite a friend, they can build a house or something in it until it starts looking populated
You are incredibly well organized and quite talented at interior design. its clear you spend a lot of time in-game thinking about it. I come from an almost purely efficiency mindset and so its funny to me to see a lot of the systems I'm building at scale in use here. The short is that un-rendered pals do ~10% of the work of rendered pals, so if you are doing a money making base of any sort, you need to commit to AFK there or your pals are just going to sit idle. Have you considered any other locations? You are absolutely right that the cliff to the south is tough to work around unless you build up a level and reach outwards over the edge. I slotted it in as my Breeding base as it needs the smallest footprint, but as its the base I deconstruct most often (its the simplest) getting the layout down each time is a hassle. I have been playing around with some areas in the Dunes and the sandy areas north and south of Anubis as they are relatively flat compared to the rest of the map. also the stone arches east of katress, or the plateau north of Moss Lux. Pros and Cons around.
I've built bases within render range before in other locations, but never with all 3. We always saved the third for mining until the homeward thundercloud. One of my favorite locations is down in Fort Ruins and the second one (still in render range) on the hill across the bridge from Chillet. But that was also before the ore pit was available. That really opened up our base location options though. I love playing with new base locations and will be doing many of these videos.
@darkmatter401 Thank you 😊 ❤️ If you're not subscribed, then you should, I do lots of base videos, and I'm working on more, hopefully with tutorials as well
Damn, Nice bases, Mine is one with everything in it. Very cramped, the other two bases are for material collecting however the newer updates fix that so I might borrow your idea XD Thanks for the video.
@@guttzz7689 you're very welcome ❤️ I have a starter base video also, but it's more early game. I accidentally learned the render range one living over in Fort Ruins with my ore base up across from Chillet. I'm super excited over the extra bases. My 4th one for crude oil is also within render range because the new island is so close. I actually think I'm going to use fewer pals per base with the addition of more bases.
@@AzaleahGames Awesome I'll go give it a watch. I haven't played since a month after launch. So seeing some new ideas, just get me excited to go and try them out. Keep up the good work.
This was on my main page and decided to check it out. The base looks gorgeous and you have a really soothing voice. Subbed now and I'll check out some of your other stuff to see what I'm getting myself into. Lol
@foxbird123 Thank you so much ❤️ I just finished another amazing base build, I'm honestly in love with it. I finagle decorating today and I'll be making a tour video asap because I'm so excited to show it off 😆
I'm working on a giant bade just like this one, in the same spot. Your video gave me some nice ideas! I'm trying to make it functional and pretty at the same time.
@kimy770 We're breeding enough to make 10 level 5 chikipis and 10 level 5 jetragons for future battles. We need 116 of each to just make one level 5, so it's literally thousands of eggs 😆 We start by breeding for passives and then just use extras to condense Sometimes, we get tired of hatching nonstop and just let them go for a while. 😳
Thank you ❤️ I find that I'm much happier in my decorated bases. I'm going to make some decorating and building videos, I'm hoping to get one done soon.
@platinum223 that sounds amazing! I've been so busy with the Palindrome Prize that I haven't gotten to build as much as I'd like to have since the update. I'm excited to find somewhere big enough to do that
I just did the exact same thing, in the exact same spot, before I even saw this video thats crazy haha. If you ever want to join a server feel free to join us at Infinity Horizons. There's like 25 of us actively playing :)
this is the 2nd video i saw of you. WoW lovely base.. guess i need to think outside of the box a bit.. For some reason i keep cramping everything up into 1 base. I do like my space so i build big and tall on just 1 palbox. (like a max area round base with only a 5x5 wall supporting the 2nd floor. 2nd floor is 3 levels upand the stairs from level 1-2-3-4 go around the center 5x5) Think this weekend, i need watch some more video's you have made. I love how calmly you explain things. And i love how smart you are with how you plan out everything!
@@pedronalesso1464 Like the 3 Palboxes in a triangle? I'd LOVE to, but I can't think of a flat enough place that's large enough. It would be even more amazing
Since the latest update, In your game settings you can now adjust how many bases you can have. Up to 10, so you don't need to rebuild your farm when you do Bellanoir raids anymore. 😊
@scottyoung3176 I know! I absolutely LOVE having more bases. ❤️ I've already begin spreading my bases out. Half my mining base is moving north to the tip of the new island. It's still within render range 😆 A dedicated Bella base was the part I was most excited about with this update though lol
@@AzaleahGames also, un case you haven't already implemented it, but you can adjust the 'damage to structure multiplier' setting to reduce damage by half. I stayed using this because I have a bad habit of accidentally firing off an attack while flying when I'm trying to descend just a little bit.
@@filipmudrinic7999 I agree, that and stairs. I haven't checked yet, but I think they fixed that. I'll check later, there's just SO much to see and do!
I've been watching a lot of Palworld content lately, especially with the sizable update recently. Getting anxious to get back into it. Took a break from it and played a bit of Star bound, Core Keeper, Terraria, 7 Days to Die, and Minecraft. RTS and survival/builder games are certainly amongst my favorites. Here soon ordering some hardware while the sales are going on to setup a dedicated server for the Discord I'm on. I certainly miss couch gaming but in this day and age this is about as close as I can get. Plus then the game is live 24/7 so I can avoid the need to afk. I'll have to rethink my base design now that they've added so much, since I last played. The additional utilities for ore, sulfer, and coal will certainly be a boon. I'll definitely be taking advantage of the increased pals per base plus job prioritization. I certainly hope they eventually add triangle foundations/floors/roofs, open frame walls, and well just copy and paste what Rust has lol. I'm certainly keeping an eye on the modding community as well. One way or another...😅
7dtd is my other major game, really excited by 1.0, but stuck waiting on the console release next month. This update on palworld has been amazing. I'm still learning and finding so many new things every day. And I totally agree on the building. They added pillars and glass, but I need triangles and half and railing, etc. The addition of the 4th (or more) base is a real game changer. It definitely changes a lot for optimization between multiple bases. I'm having fun playing around with it.
