I've noticed that videos on your site dont support casting to a tv. Are videos posted as a private youtube link or are they all hosted on the site? I ask because RU-vid allows casting to smart devices.

I hope my comment will not get lost in this heap and will help someone. Using this technique, do not lift your toes to hit harder, you will overextend your tendons and the pain will be given right to the knee, I came across this, it was not pleasant to say the least.I smeared my leg with ointment three weeks, if only the pain went away. After I stopped lifting my toes, there was no more pain.

Hi Marthyn. Could you explain how sextouplets are played at fast tempos (like counting)? Any tips/tricks would do. For reference my understanding is Silent Night Bodom Night by Children of Bodom uses the same.

They’re 16th note triplets, just count 1trip-let andTrip-let. For each quarter note.

The other helpful elements to speed are making sure your bass drum has adequate dampening to where the batter head does not move much. Also the correct bass drum pedal that is built for speed playing also helps. You don't see many guys using DW or speed cobras. You see a lot of trick bigfoot and Axis pedals.

Yeah mate the pedal part is not true at all. Plenty of incredible fast drummers with iron cobras and DWs out there. Look up James Payne, those are old ass cobras and see what he can get out of them

You can't really push with the hip flexor, if you are applying pressure with your full leg you're using a mix of gravity, glutes and biceps femoris

Everyone talking about +200bpm and I never got to feel comfortable with anything above 120 lol. My legs just block.
