One can always "tin" or get a crimper and ferrules to finish the wire/cable ends. Any mechanical connection is a good electrical one. My current battery doesn't have top and side terminals, as I prefer to have the ability to utilize both. On the additional side post's tend to buy brass terminals.

@@cherokeeronnie Installed a set of these back in October '23 as Cruiser54 stated that one thing one should do, and I've been doing since the 90's in all my vehicles has been to upgrade my grounds regardless of make. I also eliminated the C101 in my 4 liter '87 XJ Pioneer. And I also have a crimper for ferrules if I don't wish to tin the leads. I love my crap. 😜✌
