The leg kibble is also attached via screws instead of pins like on the previous release. So the kibble can be safely removed and reattached if you don't transform it often and just want a display piece.
It's highly detailed. Oddly the backpack works. I'm waiting on the Prime Ratchet from APC, that's my favourite version, I hope the hands can work with the Siege Ratchet upgrade kit, or he comes with a tool/weapon kit. Prime Ratchet has a slightly better personality and voice, however Bayverse Ratchet has shown to be better designed for his job, like being able to detect pheromones. Sadly we didn't get to see what else he can do thanks to being terminated and melted down. I also hope APC uses the First Edition Prime Cliffjumper as the bases of their version.
This really seems to be the best ratchet that we have gotten to date for bayverse design!!! This has s much more paint work going on!! Great review PvP as always!!
The DotM green and white is way better than the yellow to me, looks super vibrant and stands out when standing with the other Autobots. I definitely need to grab this guy

Man its so good to be a transformers figure fan. I gave up on transformers after the 2007 movie because i thought there's no way! No Way! they could make movie accurate figures of those designs. Thanks to seeing pictures of toyworld knight orion online a couple of years ago i found the mpm line and now my 6 shelves are almost completely filled lol. And even my family members who arent fans are pretty blown away at the fact these highly detailed figures can actually transform.
Oh wow haha that’s so cool! Yeah it’s awesome companies can now make these bayformers pretty accurate to how they looked on screen! Even if their transformations make you want to cry haha

The first Rescue Pioneer is missing loads of paint details. They missed out loads of black all along the lower portion of the vehicle mode, the black trim around the cabin as well as the silver panelling behind the rescue equipment. The DOTM version here has most of that detail though so I'm glad they didn't miss it again.
What's the music you use during the transformation? It's amazing! And so is the figure, your review of the first Rescue Pioneer (from movie 1&2) is what got me to buy it!
My original pioneer came with a misassembled light bar - the two halves are the same so I can’t transform it completely. Do you think if I bought this I could swap the light bar pieces out to keep the 2007 version in vehicle mode and the DOTM version in Bot mode?
i dunno bro, my favorite movie ratchet toy is still the Movie 1 voyager ratchet. bulky, good scale, despite not as accurate as the deluxe figures. thanks for this throwback! love the review 😀👍🏻
Dark of the moon is THE BEST BAY MOVIE … n though I hate the movie designs IM ALL ABOUT THESE 3rd party DOTM figures… that sentinel prime is amazing n now this Ratchet IM ABOUT TO JUMP ON THIS BOAT

I really like the vehicle mode, except for the awful underneath kibbles, especially the one at the back portion of the vehicle, behind the rear wheels. Is there any way to remove it?
