3:43 bro! that is the image that I needed to see, with the ls09 and the ls03 to see the scale they make, they look fantastic like that, excellent review
Yeah if the officials invested a little more time and money into their figures to get a tally good paint apps and improved features that the 3rs party companies so often add on I would be much more likely to purchase the official. How when an official figure is announced I get excited for the inevitable KO with improved paint apps and other features for a cheaper price
I just got mine, exceptional vehicle and addition to my collection!!! Can't wait for bmb Ironhide to come then my first 5 autobots will be complete!!!!
I just got this guy, and now it's just occurred to me that, of course, I get back into the hobby with some of the most complicated figures in the hobby (the mpm line)
The vehicle modes actually scale well. Look for the scene where the autobots are in alt mode on sams yard. Oh and your human figure is a little too tall.
I was actually struggling with which one to get. In the end I just went with Pioneer because the Oversized felt too big, like they were making a bigger one just to have a bigger one. I always go with the scene at the end of DOTM when Ratchet put a hand on Bee's shoulder and commends him, so I figured he's not too much bigger than Bee and went with Pioneer. Now I feel like I made a bit if a mistake 😅.
I feel like that scene was just a scaling issue, cause in the first movie Ratchet was only slightly shorter than ironhide, who was much taller then jazz and bee
@@kinjapleb4228 I agree. I have seen the vehicles in person and there is no way Bumblebee should be just slightly smaller than Ratchet in robot mode, the Hummer is massive.
I think it might be a bit too big, the top of his head should be at ironhide's nose . But then again, the MPM Ratchet honestly is proportionally the wonkiest other than maybe Bee. I really wish a company like unique toys or magnificent mecha makes these 5 from scratch, I'd definitely buy them all.
For me regular mpm ratchet just needed to be 0,5cm higher and better backpack I stay with regular mpm because i got it cheap, might buy DOTM repaint someday.
18:21 Thanks for the comparison with a M.A.S.K. figure. When MPP10 first came out, years ago, that's what started me getting back into collecting TFs (well, that & CW/UW Devy, OS'd Feral Rex/Predaking and OS'd gestalts). I even went back and got the MP01, various binaltech/alternators and human alliance *_YEARS_* after those lines finished. Is the OS'd jeep bumblebee the only figure Ben has (or others have) found that scale with/work with M.A.S.K. human figures? I'm eagerly awaiting Ramentoys Shark/Gloria.
When this one appeared, KO JH01 is become not worthy to buy. The prices are the same, but with T11, I got a bigger and more details figures. Highly recommended this one!!
I'm more concerned with vehicle scaling. It's pretty tough to do with MPM and the knock-offs, they seem all over the place. Maybe someday I'll look up actual dimensions and do the math...
The repaint with the fugly white stripe and stuff debuted in DotM, and Ratchet in that DotM deco met a gruesome end at the start of AoE. But from lookin' at the transformation...from the look of this OSKO, it looks like MPM11 Ratchet suffers from a transformation that's more annoying than the RotF Deluxe class Ratchet. (Can't say anything on the 2007/RotF Voyager, but the DotM Deluxe is pretty fun to transform) Is it as bad as the likes of MPM4 or MPM6?
Looks better than the original, but I’m still not a huge fan of the transformation, because this version of ratchet, unlike almost every other version of the character, does not have a back pack, yet this MPM mold has one.
Hey Ben! I have a question? Which Ironhide bests scales with t 11 Ratchet? I want to order an Ironhide but he has to scale well with my Ratchet, can you help me out with scale?
