Went to JL's per Mark's recommendation: BOMB!!!! This place has by far the BEST BBQ in Arizona and the best I ever had we were all so stocked. I even saw James come and we took a group picture with the legend himself! Man, I am definitely going back soon sooooooooooo good. I got the Mark Wiens platter $85 and worth every cent. I like the #1 Chicken #2 Ribs #3 Sausage the best ....good luck you will not be disappointed for sure.

I always find it amazing how barbecue is different between cultures. Here in Brazil, beef and pork are the prefereed meats, beef being the chief, but the only seasoning is literally salt. And when you eat it, no gravy or dressing, just the meat with the salt it was roasted in. Not even pepper. And many, like me, don't waste time with side dishes, only consuming the meat.

I love JL Smokehouse.... back in September my Brother and I did a day trip and drove from San Diego to Phoenix to eat this BBQ. I love the Pulled Pork and the Rib Tips, the bark is amazing on the Pulled Pork. Would love to share a bite with David sometime! God Bless you abundantly throughout your travels!

Great video with two of my favorite foodies. When I was watching JL's daughter make the Mac and cheese I was so happy to see her put in cayenne, garlic, and a mixture of cheeses. That's the secret to making it awesome.

Yes David I love you and Mark Together! Oh JB'S SMOKEHOUSE! A FAMILY OWNED RESTERAUNT! HIS CHILDREN KNOWING THE FORMULA OF SMOKING. ITS AN ART. Food will always taste the same when you go back several wks later. Same with LITTLE MISS BARBEQUE. My brother lives just north of KC and they have the big Beef Texas Ribs and brisket as well. I'm used to the tomato based Midwestern sauce. The sides were awesome. Mac-n-cheese, collard greens, barbecue spaghetti w/ sausage/ ground beef oh my. Ribs, I didn't see chicken that's my favorite. I still love the ribs, brisket, pork belly. All that meat I would freeze so I could have BBQ into the fall Yum!!! Love your 72 hr tours of other countries as well

LIL Miss is so good. There brisket, jalapeno grits, beans with brisket in it is so good. Disappointing they totally missed the sides from Lil Miss but I have to try JL smokehouse.
