We celebrated Tom's first birthday in Thailand at the gorgeous Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket. On day one, we had the beach to ourselves, swam, took the drone out, had cocktails and a delicious dinner at the Panwa House. We tried some mysterious traditional Thai desserts, found night crabs on the beach, and had a great time exploring.

Kathryn, I'm going to be in Atlanta almost all year. we start shooting next week till mid July. Then take a 3 week Hiatus. return to Atlanta and shoot till the end of the year. We May hay a day there.🤣😙

@@kathryntamblyn Hey Kathryn, hope you and Tom are keeping well down in Bath. Funny enough your only down the road from me really, I live in cheltenham! Sadly due to the global pandemic we were unable to travel. Aside from this me and the girl broke up after 5 years which has hit me hard till this day but I do hope to visit Phuket later this year maybe next, onwards and upwards i guess.

Ok so number 1 How are you two not doing daily vlogs you would absolutely kill it, you're awesome! Please upload more 2) I'm planning on staying at the Cape Panwa Hotel for 2 weeks (end of Feb-march) your review really helped making my decision. Are there any more day trips you two done around this area? E.g you have done phuket market. I would really appreciate any tips on what to do in Phuket. Thank You

And, I'm so excited for you and your trip to Cape Panwa next year - happy to hear that the vlog was helpful. You'll absolutely love it. A little tip - request a room with a great view when you book. A few day trip ideas - see the Big Buddha. There are some lovely spots to stop for lunch on your way up to the Buddha. Also, Wat Chalong is really beautiful and worth a visit. Kathryn Tamblyn Brilliant!! I'll be watching later this week (turns on notifications). Yeah I have taken your advice about the sea room and have booked the same type of room you had! Thank you for the day trip suggestions I will definitely be visiting those landmarks. I was also thinking of seeing the Phi Phi island and James Bond island. I think these are worthwhile visiting? Thank you for the fast reply and I'm sure I will be asking more questions when the date of my holiday to Phuket approaches! Bring on the month of Vlogs! 📹

Thanks, Ben!! YES! James Bond Island is super cool and I'll put together a vlog from our trip ASAP - we actually had the whole island to ourselves, so I'll give you our tour info in the vlog. You'll love it! I haven't done the Phi Phi Islands because it's apparently so jammed with tourists, but it's certainly worth looking into. And yes, please ask as many questions as you want before your trip - I'm so happy to help. Hope you're having a great week and talk soon! :)

Thanks Kathryn! I can't wait to see this vlog! I have read about the phi phi islands being "to commercialised". I am intrigued in another video of yours where the dolphins swam underneath you, what island tour that was? As I'm going with my family they love watching your videos and it makes them even more keen to visit Thailand! Quite literally you have persuaded them to go so thank you!
